Using the term "albinos" to describe persons with albinism reduces their identity to a single characteristic & may contribute to their objectification or marginalization. It is important to recognize & respect the individuality of each person by using the person-centred language.

By focusing on the person rather than the disability, People-first language helps reduce the stigma associated with disabilities. It contributes to broader social and cultural changes in how society perceives and interacts with people with disabilities. #personwithdisability

To #EndGBV, we need to listen to women and their diverse range of experiences. We need better co-operation with organizations representing women and girls, to better inform policies and legislation, including access to victim support systems and to justice. #MakeWayForHer
Available data indicates that gender-based violence #GBV affects women and girls with disabilities to much greater extents than most other women. #MakeWayForHer
