It's hot all over Oregon today. CCOs -- like @AllCareHealthOR -- and coordinated care providers are reaching out to their OHP members and working with community leaders to help connect Oregonians with the resources they need to stay safe. #InThisTogether #HeatWave

#Vaccines to protect against #COVID19 have been developed with unprecedented speed, and we know for some of you that’s raised concerns about safety. Like any vaccine, COVID-19 vaccines must meet safety standards before being approved by the @US_FDA.

ALT Fact: COVID-19 vaccines are safe. COVID-19 vaccines are being carefully evaluated in clinical trials. Many of these trials are much larger than normal, with 30,000-60,000 volunteers. COVID-19 vaccines will only be approved if they meeting safety standards and make it much less likely you'll get COVID-19.

Yesterday the first #COVID19 vaccine was given to a 90-year-old grandmother in the United Kingdom. For most of us, getting vaccinated is still months away. While vaccination gives us hope the pandemic will end, we can't let our guard down just yet.

Who's REALLY in your bubble?
Many people have chosen to form social bubbles to keep social contact during the pandemic. While social bubbles can help lessen the risk of spreading #COVID19, they can also give people a false sense of safety. It's still safest to limit socializing to the people you live with.

Too many Oregonians are relaxing into social gatherings, and that needs to end now.
Replying to @OHAOregon
"What’s causing this surge in community spread? Social gatherings. Our case investigations have linked a significant proportion of cases to social get-togethers where people spend time with each other without wearing masks, staying physically distant or taking other precautions."

Stay vigilant, folks.
Replying to @OHAOregon
"The system is flexible and has capacity, but only to a point. For this reason, you’ve heard from state officials for months that we need each individual Oregonian to take steps to limit the spread of this virus. We must keep a new surge in cases from overwhelming our system."
