Dogecoin Got a 300X Speed Boost
Fintech firm, Metallicus, launched an alpha version of DogecoinVM on Metal Blockchain mainnet.
According to the company, the processing speed of transactions can be up to 300 times faster than before.
Marshall Hayner, CEO of Metallicus, referred to it as a response to Elon Musk’s (@elonmusk) request to make dogecoin:native transactions faster.
The DogecoinVM is a new layer, independent from Dogecoin (@dogecoin) Core, Transactions reportedly get settled in 0.15 to 0.25 seconds, although deposits are limited to 100 DOGE.

During Floki's latest monthly AMA, @MrBrownWhale shared an update on the highly anticipated mobile release of Valhalla, along with a little tease of something else being tested behind the scenes.
Question:
“I saw on X that Valhalla is coming to mobile. Since the mobile app is one of the biggest roadmap milestones, are we getting close to an early iOS/Android beta, or is the plan to go straight for the full launch?”
Answer:
“Vikings, for the mobile release of Valhalla there are still some administrative hurdles to take.
When we get the green light it's a matter of days/weeks for us to update the mobile builds to be on par with the web builds (because that is ever evolving) and we’re good to go!
Fingers crossed for a quick resolution.
But we’re not sitting still, Valhalla Jarls have been secretly testing a Valhalla mini game in the meanwhile which is also very much suited for mobile.
