Watch the video and #CaptionEverything with not Hormozi style - simpler and readable and closer to real time experience
Without further ado ... I've created a brand new side-by-side video. One uses captioning best practices (except it's open instead of closed) and the other uses different types of Hormozi-style options. Which do you prefer?

Today, we mourn the passing of The Mother of Disability Rights, Judy Heumann. To say she left this world a better place is an understatement—Judy Heumann is the one who blazed the trail for disability rights. (1/?)

ALT a navy and teal gradient background with white text has a black and white picture of Judy Heumann taking up the majority of the right half; she is an older woman in a power wheelchair smiling with her mouth wide. To the left is white text “Judy Heumann 12/18/47-3/4/23 Rest in Power.” A white Diversability symbol sits in the upper right corner.

One of the many great examples of @Stagetext captions - provided by MyClearText: A conversation with Dame Julie Andrews. And, yes, she did say supercalifragilisticexpialidocious and, yes, the live captioner nailed it!
An article noting the benefits of captions and how they’ve grown in usage and acceptance by viewers across the board cites a recent study that showed Gen Zers and millennials “overwhelmingly prefer to watch content with subtitles.” ow.ly/RCjw50MxXN5

As many know Julia’s program was the first on TV with Captioning -hoorah! #CaptionEverything
🤟
Proud to have been here since the beginning.

ALT On a grainy, color television screen, Julia Child stands over a stove in a home kitchen, holding the lid of a saucepan. Child wears a blue shirt emblazoned with a white badge, a navy apron, and pearl earrings. As she talks, text captions on the bottom of the screen read: “The first stew is dark. It’s cooked in red wine.”
Tres bien!! #CaptionEverything

Qui a déjà fait un direct / live sur Instagram AVEC des sous-titres ? C’est pas pour moi, c’est pour une copine. #merci des solutions à proposer ?
Good thread. High quality captions/subtitles can convey emotional tone and more non-word features yet lacking in many or most captioning - still have fatigue of reading/listening though, background noise etc.
Replying to @ChadRuffinMD
If you're a researcher, go spend time at events like HLAA, ALDA, AMPHL, etc, and try to understand the issues that we face. Simply prescribing technology and procedures are not going to solve our problems when sensorineural hearing loss is not currently curable. 12/
Captioning please - for everything
Dr. Christopher Tsang says, “One of the most common misconceptions is that hearing loss is a disease of the elderly. It can absolutely happen to anyone at any age.”
Watch now to see why you shouldn’t delay getting your hearing checked.
