The demand for manufacturing is growing — and the skills needed on the shop floor are changing. More and more businesses are removing their production bottlenecks with advanced robots. @CCAC turned to Standard Bots to train the next generation on AI-native robots, designed and assembled in the U.S. Standard Bots' Core robot offers a built-in camera and AI skills that prepare students for the future of manufacturing work. A wide ecosystem of compatible accessories and tooling extends what they learn into other domains of automation and robotics. The exciting part? According to Justin Star, Endowed Professor of Advanced Technology at CCAC: "Not only do we see [manufacturing] coming back to the United States, but the tools needed to enable next-generation manufacturing are being made here... that's inspirational.” We make robots for those who make America.

Community College of Allegheny County Mechatronics students unboxed and programmed their robots the day they arrived in the lab. No supervision required. This is the kind of drive that Pittsburgh needs, as local industry faces surging demand for manufacturing talent skilled in advanced automation. CCAC picked Standard Bots to train the next generation of robotics experts. "Not only is it made here in America, it has a lot of these interfaces baked into the system," says Mike Russo, a CCAC Mechatronics program student. "So I can have exposure to vision learning systems and all this advanced technology that can be somewhat hard to acquire in any other way." Watch the full story: youtube.com/watch?v=-gx7Wv5v…

Revitalizing American manufacturing and competing globally starts at home — in our schools. Here’s a sneak peek at what that looks like at the Community College of Allegheny County in Pennsylvania. @CCAC chose our Spark robots to train the next generation of skilled workers on the most advanced tools powering modern manufacturing floors today. We continue to push for American manufacturers — current and future — to have access to the tools, training, and equipment they need to compete on a global stage. Full story dropping soon.
