How should we benchmark medical AI agents?
In a new PLOS Medicine Perspective, van der Schaar Lab members and collaborators explore how AI agents should be evaluated as they move beyond individual predictions and begin supporting complex clinical decision-making.
The paper argues that benchmarks must assess the full clinical decision trajectory.
These are the challenges we’ll explore at the CCAIM Clinical AI Summer School, where Silas Ruhrberg Estévez & keynote speaker Prof Kather will present.
