The Dream and the Valkyries are the two top defensive teams in the league & we definitely saw that yesterday. Constant blocks & steals. It’ll be interesting to see what changes are made offensively. It honestly looked like both teams were having trouble setting up their offense

What has made Natalie a better coach than Karl is that she doesn’t shy away from sitting players when they’re not playing to the game plan. You think Natalie is going to watch someone jack up 3s, turn over the ball, blow defensive assignments, and not bench them? Golden State plays the same way they have the entire season. They’re not doing anything creative. Their coach just isn’t blind.

No Okot minutes, no Paopao minutes. Too many Howard minutes. Hillmon barely contributing. Canada wasn’t finishing today. We need to slow this shit down. We don’t have to sprint down the court every time we get the ball. Be more intentional. Get Reese & Gray the ball more.

I'm sorry but the fact that none of these were reviewed is criminal. Angel Reese on back to back possessions hits Gabby in the face on offense but what is more egregious is right before that Burton takes a shot and after Angel flys by and totally takes her out. Direct Contact to the head of Veronica Burton. How none of this is being reviewed or called is beyond me. I wouldn't be hard on Angel here if what she did in the last Liberty game didn't also get overlooked. Intentional or not this is willfully reckless play that should be drawing Flagrants and the officials are just ignoring it.

This is the second game in a row that Angel has been EXTREMELY hot in the first, and the Dream have gone away from her completely in the second and centered Rhyne, despite her playing poorly. These coaching decisions make zero sense, man. 😂
