Muchos mensajes, análisis y comentarios como este, asegurando que las pandillas de Haití no son como las de El Salvador; que son sanguinarias, que están fuertemente armadas, que nadie ha podido vencerlas, que todas las misiones han fracasado, que estamos cayendo en una trampa, que no sabemos a lo que nos enfrentamos, que será nuestra ruina, que vamos camino a nuestro Waterloo.

¿BUKELE Y SU WATERLOO?
Con el anuncio del envío hacia Haiti, desde El Salvador, de un contingente de 3000 militares, cuya misión es encontrar a los 4 miembros de las fuerzas armadas de ese país, secuestrados el pasado domingo, cuando penetraron en territorio dominado por las pandillas y fueron atacados por una pandilla de irregulares armados, se avizoran en las próximas horas fuertes enfrentamientos armados.
A estas horas, y sabiendo cómo se resuelven las cosas en Haití, las probabilidades de que estos militares continúen vivos son mínimas, así que si no hay posibilidad de negociar nada, y por lo tanto lo que se plantea es un enfrentamiento armado entre tropas de El Salvador y las pandillas que son dueñas del territorio donde fueron atacados y secuestrados los militares centroamericanos.
Según lo publicado en la prensa internacional, los responsables son dos organizaciones criminales que dominan el área de “Croix des Bouquets”, una de ellas dirigida por Claude Celestin, quien es cabeza de la pandilla Chen Mechan (perros rabiosos), y Wilson Joseph (“Lammo San Jou) líder de la banda 400 Mawozo.
En el día de ayer, este último desafió públicamente al presidente Nayib Bukele en un vídeo publicado en las redes sociales, donde advirtió que no se irá de Haití, y mostró miles de municiones y pertrechos con arma de diversos calibres, que según el están esperando a los salvadoreños.
Tenemos entonces la bandeja servida para un enfrentamiento armado a solo 45 kms de la frontera de la República Dominicana y Haití, de un ejército de pandilleros armados sin nada que perder, frente a tropas regulares de El Salvador, que pelearán una guerra urbana en las calles de un país que no es el suyo y es absolutamente desconocido.
Ya en el pasado reciente, los Estados Unidos en 1994 mando 20,000 soldados e intentó organizar a Haití para que se volviera a la senda de lo que ellos llaman democracia, y luego en el 2004 invadieron de nuevo junto a Canada, lo que terminó en la creación de una fuerza multinacional, la Minustah, que terminó en el más absoluto fracaso, es decir, estamos metidos en un tema que no tiene solución.
Si hay alguien que tiene experiencia en combatir pandillas lo es Nayib Bukele, el presidente de el Salvador, su historia de combate a las “Maras” está a la vista de todos, solo que Haití no es el terreno amigo donde peleó esa guerra, un país de habla y cultura hispana donde jugaba de local, el país caribeño es un transplante de África en América, con una historia de violencia típica de las sociedades primitivas.
Cuando Napoleón envió a sus tropas a sofocar la revolución haitiana en 1802, pensó que miles de solados podrían devolver la colonia a sus dueños, pero solo un año después, Dessalines y la fiebre amarilla los obligó a rendirse, ¿será Haití el Waterloo de Bukele?.

Stop trying to fool the American people and the rest of the world with your bullshit propaganda about Haiti. This so-called documentary is nothing more than a staged production designed to make you look like you’re solving Haiti’s security crisis. The people presented as gang members and gang leaders are paid actors, including the children appearing in the video. The location where the video was filmed has nothing to do with the gangs. Even the wall posters was copied from actual gang posters. The reporter is promoting your narrative, and the hundreds of comments glorifying you look like a coordinated campaign to manipulate public opinion. This is the new way to fool people. Produce a fake documentary, interview a few actors, post the video online, purchase hundreds of supportive comments, and suddenly people around the world think you’re doing something good. Only idiots with no fucking common sense fall for this kind of bullshit without looking at what’s happening on the ground. You’re reportedly receiving $52 million a year through a security arrangement in Haiti, yet insecurity has gotten worse. The longer the crisis continues, the longer you remain involved, and the longer those contracts continue, the more money you make. That’s the financial incentive behind this entire situation. Don’t come online pretending you’re saving Haiti while the Haitian people continue suffering. Don’t insult the intelligence of Americans & people around the world with a staged production designed to make you look like a hero. Let me explain how this works: A person has a small cut and starts bleeding. A doctor approaches the person’s family and promises to treat the wound. Instead of cleaning the cut, applying antibiotics, and stopping the bleeding, the doctor makes the wound worse so the patient keeps bleeding and continues needing treatment. Then the doctor approaches a corrupt, hungry family member and starts paying him a salary to keep quiet and continue giving him contracts. The patient keeps suffering, the doctor keeps collecting money, the corrupt family member gets rich. That’s exactly the kind of corruption and exploitation I’m talking about. Let me repeat this for people who still don’t understand, because not everyone has the same intellectual understanding. Haiti’s insecurity started as a smaller problem before growing into the catastrophe we see today. The involvement of powerful American interests, the flow of weapons into Haiti, the role of corrupt Haitian political leaders, & the multimillion dollar security contracts all deserve exposure. The allegations of powerful people helping fuel the violence, influencing Haiti’s leadership, and then profiting from contracts to solve the same crisis are serious. The Haitian people deserve the full truth about who supplied the weapons, who benefited from the instability, and who approved these contracts. We’re talking about 52 fucking million & more every year. Money of this magnitude should produce measurable security improvements, yet the population continues suffering. And the most disgusting part is the financial incentive to keep the crisis going. When everyone involved is getting rich, the suffering of ordinary Haitians becomes secondary. Fuck the population, as long as the money keeps coming. Now the next move is manipulating international public opinion. Produce a documentary, present actors as gang members, hire people to promote the story, flood social media with supportive comments, and convince the world you’re the good guy. This is not proof of success. This is propaganda. Erik Prince, you’re a fucking cancer to the world if you’re exploiting Haiti’s suffering for profit. My team has the honor of helping the Haitian people restore security in their country. The gang leaders are now begging the Task Force we support to cease operations.
These gangs have murdered, raped, extorted, and mutilated tens of thousands of Haitians. They force children to commit atrocities and eat the hearts of humans in front of them. No words can capture the misery they’ve inflicted on the Haitian people.
On my latest trip to Port-au-Prince, I saw normal life coming back. Markets that were once shut down by gangs are now trading again. Police are on the streets. Kids are walking to school in uniform for the first time in years.
The latest UN report confirms that security forces backed by the PNH Task Force have halted the gangs’ advance in the capital and have made progress in pushing them back.
There is more to be done. We will continue to work through the Haitian government for the restoration of sovereignty and security to the Haitian people, and we will finish the job.
So to the gang leaders asking us to leave: choose life and surrender, otherwise expect consequences for your feral murderous behavior. The Task Force will continue helping the PNH reclaim territory, crush the forces of chaos , and end the reign of terror inflicted upon the vast majority of good, decent Haitians.

I have said it repeatedly: ONLY a strong Haitian Army is the long-term solution to the gang crisis. I welcome the Trump administration’s decision to end the failed U.S. policy, in place since 1995, of supporting only the PNH . #Haiti must build a 10,000–15,000-strong army. 🇭🇹 So the Haitian Army should be equipped, trained and deployed quickly to keep the areas that the GSF will open!
