Do not ignore this.
$114 TRILLION in "MASS TOKENIZATION" could start anytime now.
This month, DTCC begins tokenizing stocks, ETFs and Treasuries, pushing Wall Street deeper into crypto.
Here are the numbers:
- $114 TRILLION in securities held by DTC
- $4.7 QUADRILLION in DTCC-processed securities transactions in 2025
- 25 BILLION+ trade repository messages processed yearly
- 100+ members and partners involved
- 30+ firms joined the July production trades
- 3-year SEC no-action authorization
Some of worldsâs largest stocks could eventually sit on tokenized rails:
1. Nvidia $NVDA â ~$5.68T
2. Apple $AAPL â ~$4.91T
3. Alphabet $GOOGL â ~$4.20T
4. Microsoft $MSFT â ~$3.85T
5. Amazon $AMZN â ~$2.74T
6. Meta $META â ~$1.87T
7. Tesla $TSLA â ~$1.31T
8. JPMorgan $JPM â ~$895B
9. Walmart $WMT â ~$832B
10. Berkshire Hathaway $BRK.B â ~$708B
That is roughly $27T in market value from just 10 stocks.
For crypto, this could be huge.
More stocks, ETFs and Treasuries moving on-chain means more real assets using blockchain rails.
That could mean:
MORE stablecoin settlement
MORE demand for crypto infrastructure
MORE institutional capital entering the space
Put this on your watchlist.đ

Tomorrow, my colleagues have a choice to make: American leadership, real consumer protections, and giving law enforcement the tools they need to address illicit finance, or drive the digital asset industry overseas, leaving consumers vulnerable, and sidelining American leadership knowing full well that no other country is capable of regulating this industry as well as the United States. The choice really is that clear. The Clarity Act is right in front of us and this moment wonât come along again for years. Letâs take the win and get this done.

Dario has written that we need to âpace the frontier,â and Sam has agreed. People may be surprised by my response: go ahead.
You guys are the frontier. By any reasonable metric â market share, revenue growth, model capability â the two of you have a duopoly on frontier intelligence. Youâve also claimed the lead is widening because of recursive self-improvement.
I donât see what you see in the lab. If the unreleased models are scary enough that you think you should slow down, I support your decision to be responsible.
But stop pretending you need anyone elseâs permission. Stop pretending antitrust law has to be suspended so you can form a cartel. Stop pretending you need a regulatory approval process that supersedes product liability. Stop pretending METR is independent when it is intertwined with Anthropicâs investors and staff. Stop pretending you need those same evaluators to police competitors who arenât even at the frontier.
Most of all, stop pretending the motivation to slow down is purely altruistic. You face massive product-liability exposure if your products enable a truly damaging cyberattack. The market already punishes models that behave in unpredictable or unauthorized ways. After the Hugging Face episode, it is simply good business for OpenAI and Anthropic to trade some raw power for reliability and predictability. Call it alignment if you want. It is also just giving customers what they want.
Pacing the frontier would also create breathing room for a more intelligent conversation about regulation than Bernie Sandersâ âshut it all down.â China is very unlikely to join a global agreement, as you know, and that has to be taken into account as well.
So go ahead and pace the frontier. You are the ones setting it. The easiest way not to build superintelligence is for you to agree not to build it. Demanding your preferred regulatory framework as the price of that will look like blackmail of the public and the political system. So just do it.
If you do, youâll buy goodwill for the next conversation. If you donât, weâll know this was just another bid for regulatory capture â or an election-season psyop.

đ¨NEW: The @SECGov has just formally proposed Regulation Crypto Assets, a new framework for crypto fundraising in the U.S.
The proposal would:
đAllow certain offerings of up to $5M over four years or $75M annually without SEC registration
đCreate a conditional safe harbor for crypto assets once an issuerâs essential managerial efforts have ended
đPreempt certain state securities registration requirements
It now enters a 60-day comment period.

Choosing only organic strawberries is a great way to reduce your exposure to pesticides, as strawberries are known to absorb more chemicals due to their thin skin. This supports a cleaner, healthier diet.

Sound money is the foundation this country was built on. Digital assets give every American access to it again. That is worth protecting.

đ¨SCOOP: The House Ways and Means Committee is circulating a package of SEVEN digital asset tax discussion drafts that would overhaul how crypto is taxed in the U.S.
The bills tackle everything from stablecoin transactions, mining and staking, crypto lending and wash sale rules to charitable donations and a voluntary disclosure program for taxpayers with past digital asset reporting issues.
The move effectively breaks apart the broader Miller-Horsford Digital Asset PARITY Act, as well as similar legislation introduced last year by @SenLummis, into a series of standalone proposals.
The drafts will likely feature prominently at Tuesdayâs scheduled Ways and Means hearing on crypto taxation.

Being second in the next financial system is not an acceptable outcome. American economic prosperity cannot afford second place.

đ¨NEW: JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon took aim at the Senate's crypto market structure bill today, arguing it "doesn't do anything for AML/BSA" and provides "almost no legal protections."
When asked for comment, a spokesperson for @SenLummis told me:
"The banks canât deal with a bipartisan compromise on stablecoin yield and are making completely false claims about BSA/AML as a last ditch attempt to poke holes in a solid piece of legislation that protects consumers. Fear of competition always brings out an interesting side of people and thatâs all this is.â

Without the Clarity Act, if a digital asset exchange goes bankrupt, customers have no guaranteed right to their own assets. They join a creditor line w/ other Wall Street firms and expensive lawyers and hope for the best. This is a consumer protection failure Congress must fix.

Iâve sat through years of hearings, negotiations, and rewrites to get the Clarity Act to this point, and the reason is simple: American consumers and industry deserve a real framework, not regulatory limbo.
