You cannot in good faith form an opinion on somebody based on one negative account.
According to most every other account Alexander Ovechkin is a good teammate, husband, and father.
One bad account should not sway your opinion on somebody and if it does you are acting emotionally rather than rationally.
Ovechkinβs politics are meaningless to me and they should be meaningless to each and every single one of youβ¦ if you met Ovechkin in the street you wouldnβt ask him a political question youβd ask him a hockey question.
An Athletes political views are irrelevant and if you expect every single athlete you like or look up to to agree with you are plain dumb.
In reality, most every caps fan man, woman, or child is going to put their Ovi jersey on and cheer for him because they donβt care what βSuzanne Lambertβ or βovihater37β has to say.
So i plead with everyone of you that loves this sport as much as i do⦠let it go its not worth being angry about⦠there are much worse people than Ovi in the league.
Think with your brain and not your heart.
As Always Enjoy Hockey.
