I think they are responding to people saying that the Snydercut (prior to Whedon’s involvement) does not exist and is not a cohesive story because Zack left. It may not be 100% polished but all of the planned scenes were shot and edited into a full timeline.

I’ve met Zack on multiple occasions. I’ve seen him work. I have a lot of respect for him even if I don’t love every movie he’s made. Anybody hounding him over his family tragedy is a straight up asshole. Full stop.

But we've made it so personal nowadays that's practically impossible. So what's the solution? We start with ourselves. Remember these are films meant to entertain. If you don't like a film, learn to let go and move on. If you do, don't get competitive. Better is a subjective word

If even, just for a second somebodies life is effected badly due to these movies existing, then maybe these movies shouldn't have ever existed. These movies aren't competitions or excuses for toxicity. Usually as humans we discuss movies we like and move on from those we dont...
