When you’re walking in the neighborhood & @CBColdSpringES students are selling crafts to support a local food bank - you drive back with your wallet. Proud teacher ❣️#cbproud – at Pennsylvania, USA

It would be ashamed if education comes out of this pandemic only to return to status quo. There hasn't been an opportunity for such sweeping changes in education for the last half century. Less testing More adaptability Improved family/school partnership Let kids learn like kids

In 2019, more Americans went to the library than to the movies. Yes, really.

The US film industry may have generated revenues somewhere in the region of $40 billion last year, but it seems Hollywood still has plenty of work to do if it wants to compete with that most hallow…

Kindness isn’t weak. It takes courage to show kindness. It takes strength. It takes effort. It takes practice. It takes setting aside what’s easy for what’s valuable. Be kind...always.

Week #2 is underway!! @CBColdSpringES students and staff are focused on being kind this year. Check out the flexible seating in 1st grade, “soft starts” in Kindergarten, and the 5th graders who greeted me with smiles! #CBBack2School 📚📚

I remember my own kid consistently talking about the teacher who is “nice.” I know there’s more to teaching than being nice… & I know that kids need to adapt to and learn from all sorts of teachers. I get it. But I appreciate the teachers who are nice… & so do the students.
