Any opinions on the Mavericks out there that aren’t confirmation bias?
Can you even see enough in the preseason to make any evaluations?
If Jalen Duren sign the QO because he couldn't force the Pistons to pay him more and can't get another team to trade for him (to pay him more)... then he just needs to acknowledge that he and his agent read the market entirely wrong.
Playing out a year on the QO is awful
Rangers in basically a must-win game...
1) Jung gets HBP and breaks his wrist
2) DeGrom gives up 8 runs in 4 innings
3) Lose 10-2
My takeaway from the Kawhi punishment is that each Mavericks 1st rounder in both 2028 & 2030 improved by 1 spot.
The people bidding for the expansion franchises are coming to the conclusion that they want a franchise right now.
Ok, Josh Green has changed a lot since the Mavs traded him.

Don Nelson definitely made a lasting mark in the NBA and with the Mavericks. RIP to a legend
Hall of Famer Don Nelson, three-time NBA Coach of the Year and five times a champion as a player with the Boston Celtics, has died at age 86.
The family has issued this statement:
“On Sunday morning our beloved husband, dad, grandfather and great-grandfather Don Nelson peacefully went to be with the Lord, surrounded by his loving family. Throughout his last week, friends and family encircled him with love, sharing the blessing of his friendship and revisiting treasured memories.”
This is an important note, the Mavericks specifically left the door open to trade Naji if the right deal comes along.
Replying to @YossiGozlan
It looks like Naji Marshall remains trade-eligible based on this structure.
$18,195,000 is the most he can get within extend-and-trade limits, which is 120 percent of the estimated average salary.
And the annual declines are all 5 percent or fewer.

Right now, the Naji extension is ok in my book, but has more of a chance to be negative. I like that it is descending.
Whether it is viewed as good or bad hinges on if he's a positive player this coming season. What role is he going to play?
Two timelines, huh
The Warriors are reportedly comfortable running back the same roster and understand they aren’t title contenders, per @anthonyVslater
