Thankful for time with each of our grade levels during Class Meeting time together. We've built community and set the tone for how each grade level will be the best CAS teammates as we "Level Up" for this school year in all areas as people and scholars.

Week one is in the books! Our theme for August is to "Build Community" and set a strong foundation for our students and staff. It was a success!

We had our 2nd annual leadership retreat building strong roots so the fruit of our school continues to blossom for the 26-27 school year! We missed a couple of folks, but feeling thankful to be heading into this school year with this amazing team of leaders.

Our teachers who will be team teaching this year have already started to brainstorming, creating a common vision, and building the foundation for impactful classroom experiences together. This work is changing the game, together!

Our CAS team represented KC well and represented one of the best alternative schools in the nation well in New Orleans at the National Association of Community and Restorative Justice last week. We're proud of our staff, students and game changing work happening at CAS!
