He nods and pays the bill, then stands up to walk out. “You all set?”

“There’s a nice park around here. Great for hiking.” He nodded, sipping his coffee before finishing his food.

He glances up at her, still eating his food. “How about we go for a hike. It’ll give you time to think.” he’d nod, a slight smile following.

“Alright alright. I’m sorry.” He raised a brow as he ate his food. “Have any plans after work?” He asked, a slight glance over in her direction.

“Thanks. Not sure how it happened, it was so fast.” He glanced over as he held the bandaged arm.

“You two aren’t for each other then hm?” He grinned and saw what he wanted. Once the waitress came by he ordered a usual breakfast type food. “Are you seeing someone else?”

he’d drive them both to the diner, letting her enter first before finding a table. “How’s Bode doing?” He asked as they sat down, his eyes glancing over the menu.
