Love being a part of this organization and helping athletes every day.
Having college coaches interested in me but not having the guidance or support to navigate those opportunities is something I will never forget.
I want to help athletes and their families navigate the recruiting process with confidence, create opportunities, and ultimately find the RIGHT FIT to play college baseball.
That is my WHY. That is why I do what I do. ⚾

Most of our CAA advisors have a story and a why behind why they do this work.
For CAA Texas Advisor @CAAMcQuaid , it’s personal.
College coaches were interested in him, but he had coaches that wouldn’t even return their calls.
He knows what it feels like to need someone in your corner.
🎥 Hear Brendan explain why he chose to become a CAA advisor.

If you're not hearing back from college coaches, you might be targeting the wrong schools.
Get a detailed evaluation from someone you trust.
This person MUST be someone who will tell you your strengths, your areas of improvement, and guide you to the appropriate level of play for college baseball.
When the player communicates consistently and responsively with these coaches, the recruiting process becomes more focused.

Are you not getting the right attention from College Coaches?
Here are a few reasons athletes get overlooked in the recruiting process:
✅Reaching out to the wrong level of schools
✅Poor recruiting timeline for your position, graduation year, and coach’s needs
✅Target list is too small
✅Weak communication with coaches after one email
✅Attending the wrong events
College recruiting is about having the right plan, realistic expectations, and consistent communication with coaches.

Eight Years. One Mission.
Eight years ago, College Athlete Advantage started with one simple goal: to give student-athletes and their families a better way to navigate the recruiting process.
What I saw in recruiting wasn’t good enough.
Families lacked reliable information, honest guidance and a clear roadmap. I wanted to combine everything I had learned as a college coach with a system that made recruiting simpler and more effective for college-bound athletes.
If a service like CAA had existed when I was being recruited nearly 30 years ago, I truly believe it would have changed the trajectory of my own career. That belief became the foundation of this company, and eight years later, it still guides every decision I make.
Building a business isn’t easy. There are public victories people celebrate and challenges no one ever sees. There are moments of uncertainty and countless decisions made behind the scenes. I honestly love it all.
It has never been about getting athletes to the "highest" level. We believe in fit over name brand. Sometimes that means turning away athletes who only want our contacts.
I wanted to build a company that helps those who truly need and want guidance. From Power 4 to NAIA JV, every athlete deserves support. Most families go through recruiting only once, and we want to help them get it right.
From the beginning, I wanted to surround myself with people of character who genuinely care about others and want to make an impact.
Building something as a team has always been more rewarding than doing it alone.
I’m incredibly grateful for our advisory team. Many have been with us for years, investing their time, experience and hearts into helping young athletes pursue life-changing opportunities. I trust them completely to do what’s right for every family they serve.
During the past eight years, recruiting has changed dramatically.
New companies enter the space every day.
AI is transforming how information is shared.
Competition is healthy because it pushes all of us to improve.
But saying you want to help families is much easier than actually doing it.
Real recruiting isn’t a one-week process or an Instagram post. It often takes 12 to 30 months of communication, planning, relationship building and guidance. The deeper the relationship, the better the chance of a positive outcome.
I’m proud of what we’ve built, proud of the advisors who represent our mission every day, and thankful for every player and family who has trusted us.
As we look ahead, our commitment remains the same.
The heartbeat of College Athlete Advantage will never change. We will put our athletes first and continue improving the systems and service we provide.
Thank you to every family, athlete, advisor, coach and supporter who has trusted us over these past eight years.
We’re honored to be part of your journey and excited for what’s ahead.
Here’s to the next chapter.
And year #9.
Let’s go @michaelkill02!! 🔥Fired up for you and your future. Go out and dominate!

Huge congratulations to 2027 LHP/OF Michael Killian on his commitment to Weatherford College. Michael had a huge year on the mound and is a true competitor. He is an athletic LHP with huge upside that will have a chance to make an impact right away for the Coyotes. Weatherford is getting a special player with a bright future. Congratulations to Michael and his family! Pumped to watch you compete at the next level! @michaelkill02 @WCoyoteBaseball

The transfer portal has made it easier than ever to change schools.
But “free to transfer” doesn’t mean “free.”
The hidden costs of transferring often include:
• Lost college credits that don’t transfer
• Extra semesters to graduate
• Paying for classes you’ve already taken
• Delayed graduation
• More tuition and living expenses
The goal shouldn’t be to plan on transferring. The goal should be to find the best fit the first time.
Sometimes a transfer is absolutely the right decision. But it should be a strategic move, not something you assume has no consequences.
Before you enter the portal, ask yourself:
What’s the real cost of transferring?
