I never partake in the cesspool of A7X discourse on here, as most of the time it’s just noise, and y’all are yapping just to hear yourselves talk. But I have never seen so much negativity and entitlement as I have post their Rock in Rio set. Complaining about setlist-this, crowd-interaction-that, and whatever other hyper negative opinions nobody asked for that you decided the world needed to hear for some reason. Do y’all actually like the artists y’all claim to love? Do y’all actually appreciate the music? The message? The concerts? The community? All that’s been curated off the backs of nearly three decades of work and released to the world when none of it had to be? Or are y’all just miserable? Sad? Unhappy? Nothing going for you, and trying to bring everyone else down with you? Which is it? I’m tryna figure it out. Because if you’re going through a hard time and need reprieve through music, and through concerts, and through human connection, then god damn it take a moment to think about what you’re experiencing and fucking enjoy yourself. Appreciate the time you have with your friends, and your family, and your loved ones and the fact that you get to take your hard earned money and use it to go somewhere and collectively enjoy something together. Y’all are not on that stage, a part of that crew, in those meetings, or whatever else has to be done to put the band you supposedly love in front of you night after night. Y’all are not privy to the amount of things that need to happen and go right to give you a show. So instead of complaining, and focusing on every little negative thought that swims through your mind, why don’t you just enjoy yourself in the here and now? TL;DR The band has given you 30 years.
