Sovereign cloud costs 10–30% more than standard public cloud. Germany's Delos Cloud, built to keep government data out of reach of US authorities, prices at 10–20% above Microsoft's public cloud. That premium has a name in every vendor deck: the cost of sovereignty. It isn't. Sovereignty has no unit cost — jurisdiction is not a resource you consume. What's being priced is the workaround: isolated infrastructure, duplicated regions, vetted personnel. @Gartner_inc expects global sovereign cloud spend to reach $80B in 2026, up 35.6%. You're not paying for sovereignty. You're paying for the workaround. We build the other way around: residency conditions set by the customer, enforced before data is placed anywhere. Compliance by design, not by process.

Alright, everyone. Here comes some transparency for the people who have me as their DRep. Disclaimer: EVERYTHING I write is my personal view/opinion and has NOTHING to do with my position as CTO of @IagonOfficial -- Sad day for our Vision, but here we go: I just voted with NO on every single IO proposal. -- Why so? Because I personally deem the CEO of IO @IOHK_Charles as unfit for the job - to handle our Ecosystem in a proper way. -- Holger,..WTF? What do you mean? I could tell you a lot of stories why, and I could tell you a lot of stories where I defended him from a perspective of: "he is also just a human like all of us - humans have bad days, make mistakes, bad decision, etc." BUT (!!!) we reached a point where it is NOT funny anymore! When people ask Charles on X why he is bashing @NaVi_GaT0R (CEO of IAGON) and @IagonOfficial itself, then he answers with (i quote): "He just downvoted the IO funding proposals [...] this is objectively wrong". -- Let's get this straight: As of today it looks like the Founder of #Cardano - who "invented" and "created" the decentralised governance - will shame/blame you socially (with his more than 1 Million follower X-Account) when you vote against his proposals where he asks for over 140 Million ADA. (That is even at the current low ADA price: over $35 Million USD) Please remember that IOHK got 2,463,071,701 ADA (2.4 Billion) over the Genesis Block Distribution. So, IF you use the decentralised governance system and have a different opinion on how and/or how much money should be spent, then you or your company/Cardano project are going to be slaughtered by the Founder of the Ecosystem himself. HOW DARE YOU VOTE against the "King" himself, when he asks for money,.. you "little peasant" ?!?!! For me it does NOT matter if the topic is about IAGON, SNEK, or the holy Virgin Mary. The decentralised governance system is to vote and state your opinion - like it or not, but free speech is free speech. UNLESS you vote against the "King" then "he" sends (or at least he does not tell them to not do it) his "Soldiers" (Employees) like Riley who post more FUD to create more "uncertainty" for those $IAG holders which are not always up-2-date and only act based on the price and/or fud they see. And when the $IAG price takes a hit, because of his 1M reach + that of his "Soldiers", the Founder of #Cardano then posts a Bane video - which looks like a response to the $IAG price-crash-chart for X users. Hosky, writes under the price-crash-chart screenshot: "Let's see if it works" and tags Charles. Charles replies to Hosky with a video showing a scene with Bane (from the movie "The Dark Knight Rises") I quote what Bane says within the 15 seconds of the video: Bane: "Your punishment must be more severe" Dark Knight: "Torture?" Bane: "Yes,..But not of your body...of your soul" So, Charles requests over 140M ADA from the Cardano Treasury, because 2.4 Billion Genesis ADA is NOT enough. Then the CEO of one of the biggest Projects on Cardano (IAGON) says: nah bro, i do not like that - let me vote with: no Then Charles runs the drums to hurt IAGON, because IAGON's CEO wanted to exercise free speech in the voting-process "Charles" invented. And when he reached his goal to hurt a project within his own ecosystem, then he makes a statement and which is presented to the X community as: "The punishment must be more severe, it must be torture of the soul. " Brings me to a simple personal question - i would like to ask Charles: Are you fucking nuts, or just an asshole?! How can someone self-sabotage his own Ecosystem so hard?! OH WAIT, he created midnight - so fuck Cardano, right?! Is it that Charles? -- So long story short. I voted NO on all IO proposals, because Charles manages it. The IO employees are most likely all good people, but the fish is rotting from the head down. -- Just a no-vote, or do i also have a better idea? At a first glance - i would say - we should create a company, which hires all good IO workers, and we pay them from the treasury directly. No mad middleman who loves to shit on his own work one day and eats at the same place the next day. -- FINAL statement: Could this all be written more nice? Yes Did I instead just write down what is in my head? Yes Is it therefore maybe not perfect? Yes But does it still deliver what my opinion is? I think/hope so. And look at my X-Name: "Holger - Guarding our Vision!" That is not because it should look fancy. It is this way, because i mean it! And that also means, that the little peasant stands up when the "King" is doing some bullshit and not only salutes and says: Yes Sir! (As many DReps do, because they only follow Charles blindly - no matter what he says or does) Like what I wrote/think? Want to support it? Does it align with your thoughts? Then feel free to delegate or switch your DRep delegation to me. DRep-ID: drep1y2k8uedxj5xzymxxzf07plg0t5xd4mmckwg9lwkwhdlwyesy0eyf8 Thank you for taking the time to read till the end!🙏 p.s.: @IOHK_Charles this time you fucked it up ultra hard,... maybe today it's me with the bad mood, with a mistake, with a wrong statement - I am also just a human. But from my perspective all this feels more than wrong!

So here’s the issue you get influencers like this guy have a quarter million followers and they claim they don’t know why it is declining… it’s because they don’t understand basic mechanics of price discovery. They don’t understand that the marginal buyers or the float determines price they think the onchain bitcoin is that is the price discovery Well, it was once upon a time but now.. Once you can synthetically manufacture the supply, the asset is no longer scarce and once scarcity is gone, price becomes a derivatives game, not a supply-and-demand market. This is exactly what has happened to Bitcoin. This is the same structural break that occurred in gold, silver, oil, and eventually equities once they became derivatives-dominated. The original premise that no longer exists Bitcoin’s entire valuation logic was built on finite supply (21M) and inability to be rehypothecated. That died the moment: •Cash-settled futures •Perpetual swaps •Options •ETFs •Prime broker lending •Wrapped BTC •Total return swaps were layered on top of the chain. From that moment forward: Bitcoin supply became theoretically infinite. Not on-chain in price discovery. The metric that explains the collapse Synthetic Float Ratio (SFR) Once you can synthetically manufacture the supply, the asset is no longer scarce — and once scarcity is gone, price becomes a derivatives game, not a supply-and-demand market. That is exactly what has happened to Bitcoin. This is the same structural break that occurred in gold, silver, oil, and eventually equities once they became derivatives-dominated. Why Wall Street can now “trade against” Bitcoin They do exactly what they’ve done in every commodity market: 1.Create unlimited paper BTC 2.Short into rallies 3.Force liquidations 4.Cover lower 5.Repeat They are not “betting” — they are manufacturing inventory. The same 1 BTC can now support: •An ETF unit •A futures contract •A perpetual swap •An options delta •A broker loan •A structured note All at once. That is six claims on one coin. That is not a market. That is a fractional reserve price system.
Bitcoin actually tagged $73,000 today, which is borderline insane. What’s remarkable is no one actually knows what’s happening and why price is going down. It’s all predicated on some BS glitch narrative from 3 months ago and the 4 year cycle which means absolutely nothing.

My thoughts on Stablecoin DeFi Liquidity Budget info action (gov.tools/proposal_discussio…): read the proposal carefully. Surprised by some of the comments here. The intent is good but for 50M ADA you have to meet the standard of a professional fund, not a liquidity grant. Too many critical pieces are missing to earn that level of trust. There is no investment policy or risk framework. A serious fund starts with allocation bands, risk limits, counterparty caps, drawdown budgets and rebalancing rules. "99% deployed to DeFi" is not a strategy, it is a hope. Without a formal IPS (Investment Policy Statement), the committee can move funds wherever it wants and there is nothing to hold them accountable. Governance and execution are blurred. The same committee is selecting protocols, negotiating OTC and disbursing, while also sitting under "oversight." In professional structures, governance sets the rules and strategy, operations execute within those rules and oversight checks both. Collapse those roles and you get self-approval, not checks and balances. Operational controls and custody are not defined. Saying you have a 9-person multisig isn't a safety system by itself. You still need the basics: how keys are created and rotated, who can approve what size transactions, daily/weekly spending limits, a built-in delay for large transfers so issues can be caught and a recovery plan if keys are lost or hacked. These are the minimum controls any serious fund puts in place. Transparency is vague. "Monthly reports" with no format, no independent attestation, no dashboards and no on-chain verification standards won't cut it. Real funds commit to audited reporting schedules with templates the community can expect and measure. The legal structure is deferred until after approval. That is backwards. Jurisdiction, liability, community protections and tax must be locked before any ADA moves. There is no risk register or stress testing. What happens in a stablecoin de-peg, a protocol exploit, an OTC failure or a 70% drawdown? If it is not modeled, it is not managed. On compensation: 1,000 per member per month (or 9000 - not sure which one but unclear) is not the issue by itself. The issue is paying a committee where most members lack institutional fund management experience, without tying pay to responsibilities, KPIs, attendance, clawbacks and process compliance. For sums this large, compensation should follow competence and controls. Right now it reads like a stipend, not professional stewardship. On strategy: DEX liquidity on its own won't fix Cardano's stablecoin issue. Most users come in and out through big centralized exchanges (CEXs) and bank rails, so reliable pricing and deep order books have to exist there first. That means integrating with top CEXs, building strong ADA–stablecoin markets and running real market maker programs with clear targets for depth, tight spreads and uptime. When CEX markets are tight and liquid, arbitrage naturally keeps DEX prices in line and holds the peg. If you only stack TVL on a DEX without real trading volume, it's just parked capital, not usable liquidity. Bottom line: This looks like a plan to pump short-term liquidity but it's being sold as a long-term sovereign wealth fund. If you want broad support, rebuild it the right way: structure first, people second. That means a clear rulebook (IPS) for how money can be used, a clean split between who sets the rules and who executes them, bank-grade custody and operating procedures, real audits and standard reports, a legal entity defined upfront, a written risk plan with stress tests, and a market plan that covers both CEXs and DEXs with measurable targets. We're talking about large sums of money - this has to be built like a professional fund, not a quick liquidity program.

To fight China, you have to become China.. US turning into a one party state, admins taking over private business, militarizing police, setting up distopian digital records of its citizens, shutting people up, deadlocked House, purges in the military,... 'land of the free' 🙄

I second this. Trading depth remains one of the most critical bottlenecks for CNTs. Without sufficient depth on centralized exchanges, exposure stalls, not because of lack of quality but due to the perception of illiquidity. If we want to capture market share and build awareness beyond the Cardano bubble, traders must see depth. This proposal by @flowdesk_co is a strategic step in solving that. It goes beyond one token, it lays foundational infrastructure that directly benefits $IAG and other ecosystem tokens by enabling real traction on CEXs, where the vast majority of crypto users still operate. Let’s be honest: most DReps aren't equipped with the market-making expertise needed to fully understand the long-term impact here. But that’s exactly why this vote matters. Because without tools like Flowdesk, many of our most promising project, built by passionate teams, will never reach the audiences they deserve. The Cardano ecosystem is vibrant because of its builders. If we want the ecosystem to thrive, the builders must succeed. Success breeds usage. Usage attracts users. Users bring liquidity. And liquidity attracts more builders. Vote Yes on this proposal.
I encourage all DReps to vote "YES" to fund @flowdesk_co. We're ALMOST there! 👀 This proposal will directly impact $SNEK (and other top ecosystem tokens) with adoption on Centralized Exchanges. 2025budget.intersectmbo.org/…

The truth is, we were always destined to lose our disproportionate control of global manufacturing. This didn’t start in 2001 when China joined the WTO. This started in 1945, when WW2 ended. All of Europe, Japan, and the Soviet Union was ruined in WW2. The U.S. was the only country with idle manufacturing capacity to produce the world’s stuff. And then, as the world rebuilt, we slowly and consistently began losing that advantage. That’s the cold hard truth. And we don’t attempt to get back most of this manufacturing because low level manufacturing is the most inefficient form of modern economic activity. We’d rather sell you M&A consulting at 40% net profit than Nike’s at 4% net profit.
