Pride as we watched our pupil walk out onto the football pitch at St James Park as a mascot. Thank you @NU_Foundation for this incredible opportunity. Our pupil is forever grateful ❤️⚽️❤️@BykerPrimary

Today Marshall spoke his truth about what it’s like to grow up in Newcastle. This was heard by multiple professionals as part of the Public Health Newcastle Marmot conference. 1/2
Marshall’s poem ‘Newcastle’ alongside pupils artwork from Byker Primary allowed animation illustration artist, Lily Kroese, to bring his words to life and is available to view on the Newcastle City Council Facebook page. A huge well done Marshall from all at Byker Primary.
