Apparently even having Zac Robinson in the same building makes Penix throw picks

Michael Penix Jr. went 144 passes without an interception. He's now thrown three INTs in his last six attempts.

Didn't die running my first marathon AND the Falcons got a sorta must-win game over an undefeated team??? Good Sunday.

RIP Falcons Linsanity run 2026. It was a great two weeks.

If Penix doesn't have to miss time, still think this season can turn out positively, but that should have been a win, and sure would have been a nice one to have. After two weeks of dominating wins, you knew the return of Falconing had to be on its way.

You wanted a validation of last week's big win — or at least just not to come out flat after a big win like Raheem Morris teams did so many times. You got much more. Just an evisceration of the Saints. Tough stretch coming up, but this team feels different.

The Falcons dominated the Saints, 45-24, and have now beat New Orleans three straight games. It was a complete effort and the second straight blowout win for Atlanta, which suddenly looks like a sleeping dragon awoken thefalcoholic.com/atlanta-fa…

Atlanta smokes the Saints on their own field, and we’re overjoyed.

Feeling oddly confident in the #Falcons tonight. Every time I've felt that way in recent memory, the team immediately stabbed me in the back. ...but maybe this time will be different

Last night was a showcase of what the team can look like when everything goes right. They've had those moments before in the last couple years, but something always brought them back to earth. Let's see if this QB, team, and coaching staff can be different.

This thread is going to be depressing to look back on when that "week 18 soul-crushing loss to Carolina that drops the Falcons to 8-9 for the year" hits.

Your team hasn’t scored a touchdown every time they reach the red zone?

🔖Rush-led Falcons put Atlanta in a big hole early on. Penix comes back in a week or two and plays well enough to win some games but not quite well enough to cement himself as the franchise QB. Falcons finish 8-9/7-10 for 8th time in 9 years, draft too low for the top QBs.

Falcons ruled out QB Michael Penix Jr. for Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers.

There were some 7-9s too, but still. This is how long the mediocrity has continued. It's been ongoing since the NFL still had a 16-game schedule. I hate them.
