Pls help spread the word: not all birds nest in trees! Skylark, curlews, oystercatchers, red grouse, and lapwing nest on the ground April - July. If you wander off paths or let dogs off leads, ground nesting birds may leave their nests & leave young to perish.

Pls help spread the word: we want visitors to enjoy the countryside responsibly & safeguard wildlife & livestock. Please keep dogs on leads, especially near sheep. Scared lambs can abort, sheep & ewes can easily get separated. Even sensible dogs may chase gambolling lambs.
