What's your side hustle?

ALT The @Department of Biological Sciences Teaching Laboratory Coordinator, Ken Eilert, has a side hustle. The last weekend in August, Ken shared his singing and dancing talents as a cast member of "Emergency: The Musical" at the Tarkington Theater. Ken's previous roles include portraying Edward Bloom in "Big Fish", the King in "Cinderella", and the Tin Man in "The Wizard of Oz." Several Butler faculty enjoyed watching Ken on stage in his latest role. We are lucky to have Ken in the biology department as he is truly a "jack of all trades." Now, he can add being a paid actor to the list!

“We’ve heard from industry that they like to see those liberal arts,” said Jeff Carvell, founding chair of Butler’s engineering program. “That human-centered kind of background — being able to read, to write, to speak.”
