It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved retired mascot, Butler Blue III, aka “Trip,” at the age of 12 after a brief illness. Trip’s jersey and portrait will be displayed in Atherton Union from Monday, April 8, through Sunday, April 14.
Can every day be Alumni Day at Hinkle Fieldhouse? It felt so good to be back in the old barn with my Pops, and working alongside @TheButlerBlue for some @ButlerMBB.
Thanks to @zjbphotography for capturing these cherished moments. I miss it so much. Always and forever, Go Dawgs!
Alumni Day appearance by yours truly. See you at Hinkle for some @ButlerMBB!

Dusted off my letter sweater cause I’m back in the game! Thanks for the call up, @TheButlerBlue. I’m always ready to serve.
We’re calling on some familiar faces to keep the #ButlerBound deliveries rolling while I recover from my leg injury. #BluesBackups
“Much Ado About Blue” debuted two years ago today, July 7, 2021 on Netflix’s Dogs series. Have you seen it?

10 years ago today: Butler Blue II’s last game, my first chance to try on the new hardware, and @ButlerMBB takes down X on Senior Night. Time flies. Go Dawgs! Photos by @zjbphotography.
