Today, I went to the market to buy some things. I started looking for Hindu-owned shops, but I could hardly find a few.
From street vendors to medium-sized shops, I found that around 80% were run by one community.
In shops selling fruits, juice, vegetables, chaat, golgappas, coconut water, and snacks, I could hardly find any Hindu vendors, even though these businesses usually involve a lot of cash transactions.
The situation is such that even items for Hindu festivals are being sold by Muslims.
Lower-middle-class Hindus have started feeling ashamed of doing these kinds of businesses. They want a white-collar job paying ₹20,000–25,000 instead.
This is something Hindus should seriously think about.🙏
