To man who deserves all that is being said about him today. I first came in contact with his ministry in 1987. I remember going to his office in 1991 when I was to start leading a Campus fellowship in Unilag. I met with him in his office in the morning of January 2nd. He was all suited up and behaved as though the holiday didn't exist. I told him history in Unilag had shown he led the most imapctful and successful season of growth of a campus fellowship in the history of Unilag so I came to ask some questions. He gave me 4 keys to succeeding as a campus leader and in ministry at large. A man who has the heart of a servant always ready to help, full of empathy and deeply passionate about the pain others are feeling. He ministers by compassion. I have repeatedly said he is probably the most understated man of God in Nigeria. If you really know many things that went on behind, that which is not obvious to all, you will know something about the role Arch Bishop Wale Oke Francis Wale Oke played in the shaping of the pentecostal/charismatic experience we have in Nigeria. He broke new grounds, opened new territories and was doing in the 90's what some are entering into today. His conference the Holy Ghost Convention was a major voice and place of impartation for the church in this nation. A lot can be said. We celebrate you today sir. Many more fruitful years to come.
