And apparently “who they are” are people who want to let child predators out of jail early, raise taxes on hard working people in order to hand out benefits to illegals and confiscate your guns while letting violent offenders back into your neighborhoods.

On the campaign trail Abigail Spanberger said she supported eliminating the car tax. Will 2026 be the year Virginia’s car tax gets axed? Probably not. ⬇️

UPDATE: Under SB 749, the penalty for possessing a 10+ round magazine (standard in many of the most popular self-defense handguns) is a TOTAL BAN on your right to possess ALL FIREARMS for THREE YEARS!
This is nothing more than an underhanded plot to strip millions of law-abiding Virginians of their Second Amendment rights. Democrats want to retroactively classify as many gun owners as possible as “criminals” so they can take away your right to own a gun altogether!

This legislation would increase the physical danger to law-abiding residents of Virginia and, with the amendment, put responsible gun owners in legal jeopardy simply for possessing their gun’s original magazine.
What Virginia Democrats are doing is insane and must be rejected.
🚨 VIRIGINA GUN RIGHTS ALERT 🚨
Virginia lawmaker's proposed amendment to SB 749 ("Assault Weapons" and magazine ban) eliminates grandfathering for existing magazine owners.
Under the amended bill, simply possessing any magazine that holds more than ten rounds would become a Class 1 misdemeanor, carrying a penalty of up to 12 months in jail.
This bill would turn tens of thousands of Virginians into criminals overnight.

This is always what happens.
The left pushes, obstructs and riots until they get the reaction they want and then they play the victim and “simply ask that we pause.”
No. Not this time. YOU created these conditions. YOU relent. YOU pause. YOU stop doing what YOU'RE doing.
Could be up to 40 House seats and EVs if done correctly. This is precisely what it’s all about: political power and perhaps one of the biggest seismic shifts in political power from blue state to red states IF, and it’s a big if considering GOP’s ability to botch these things, it’s done correctly. The Left, and by that I mean the Democrats, could be in the political wilderness for a generation.
The National Dems are now coming out thinking this is the moment to pour cold water on what they know is coming if it isn't stopped -- a 2030 Census with 10 million fewer illegal aliens that will cost blue states 20-30 seats in Congress and make the electoral map pretty much unwinnable for the Democrat party.
Virginia Democrats: “We need to focus on affordability!”
Also Virginia Democrats: “Let’s tax absolutely everything in Virginia.”

I hear the Christian community is outraged about the storming of the church in Minnesota. Unfortunately about 40% of evangelicals go to the polls in federal elections . Talk is cheap.

Now firmly in control of the Governor's office and the legislature, Democrats are moving quickly toward a major increase in taxes. Virginia Democrats appear to be replicating the model of California in chasing away businesses and high-income households...
This is about to be @SpanbergerForVA ‘s Virginia and the members of this town council are cut from the same cloth as Virginia Democrats. Prepare to be taxed and if you don’t like it, you shouldn’t be poor.

Lisa, you’re not accurate in this. I referred him for perjury in July. You’re making this political when it’s not. The Senate has the same standards as the House regarding perjury.
After speaking with Chair Powell this morning, it’s clear the administration’s investigation is nothing more than an attempt at coercion. If the Department of Justice believes an investigation into Chair Powell is warranted based on project cost overruns—which are not unusual—then Congress needs to investigate the Department of Justice. The stakes are too high to look the other way: if the Federal Reserve loses its independence, the stability of our markets and the broader economy will suffer. My colleague, Senator Tillis, is right in blocking any Federal Reserve nominees until this is resolved.

Turning off payments and forcing verification before taxpayer money flows out the door is one of the most important steps we can take to end the fraud in Minnesota. But there will be many more to come.
Great job to @HHS_Jim and @SecKennedy.
We have frozen all child care payments to the state of Minnesota.
You have probably read the serious allegations that the state of Minnesota has funneled millions of taxpayer dollars to fraudulent daycares across Minnesota over the past decade.
Today we have taken three actions against the blatant fraud that appears to be rampant in Minnesota and across the country:
1. I have activated our defend the spend system for all ACF payments. Starting today, all ACF payments across America will require a justification and a receipt or photo evidence before we send money to a state.
2. Alex Adams and I have identified the individuals in @nickshirleyy's excellent work. I have demanded from @GovTimWalz a comprehensive audit of these centers. This includes attendance records, licenses, complaints, investigations, and inspections.
3. We have launched a dedicated fraud-reporting hotline and email address at childcare.gov/ Whether you are a parent, provider, or member of the general public, we want to hear from you.
We have turned off the money spigot and we are finding the fraud.
