In-house media (45% cut) & commercial dept (44%) bore brunt. But 161 jobs shed in admin, including ticketing, and 60 lost among football staff, including scouting & academy coaching.
United debt & outstanding transfer commitments now stand at £1.15BN as it emerged in full 25/26 filing that another £90m was borrowed from revolving credit facility to help fund summer transfers.

£200m drawn down on £400m RCF
£375m in outstanding transfer fees - net amount is £307.1m, of which £193.3m due for repayment in next 12 months.

I bookmarked this news almost 4 hours ago, expecting to see content creators making videos or tweets to laugh at Man utd. 😂 I came back online and nobody is even talking about it. But I’m not surprised that I came back online and nobody is talking about it. When Barcelona did something similar in 2023, people talked about it for over a month, and even till now, some still use it to laugh at Barca fans, meanwhile, it’s just a normal thing clubs do.
This should tell Barca fans that not every nonsense tweet or video about Barcelona deserves our attention. Some accounts have simply mastered how to trigger Barca fans for engagement. It’s high time we learned to scroll past the bait instead of giving them exactly what they want.
