Started the week getting a nice clean out of the 2-year-old Ironcutter bermuda on Folk. We had some settling of drainage lines from the renovation, so shaved the top and will topdress heavily to level back out. Work on the practice pitch also continues. #SportsTurf – at West Lafayette, IN

Laser grading all of our ballfield skins before the season starts. This is crucial in minimizing rain outs and maximizing field playability. Appreciate the district administration for continuing to invest in our facilities. Takes buy-in from the top down for continued success.

Thanks to @Eric_NeffKC for the pics of this week’s craziness. Stripped field Mon/Tues, laser graded Tues/Wed, layed grass Wed/Thurs, rolled and painted a little on Friday and finished painting today.
Shoutout to @BushTurf for all the work. Can’t thank my staff enough. The BEST!

City Park is tearing out their old sod to replace it while City SC is out of town. Fans if you were hoping to obtain or purchase the original pitch I’ve got some bad news, it’s considered intellectual property and is not for sale. @kmoxnews @KMOXSports

Sod completed yesterday before the rain! Was not able to complete lazer grade on infield due to rains. So we will lazer next week and finish airification and topdressing when Mother Nature allows. 3.5 inches of rain/ Mother Nature wins this round with more to come! #wegotthis!
