Macklemore got pulled from Ed Sheeran’s tour after turning the New Jersey shows political. Venues said they’d cancel dates if he stayed. Ed Sheeran says that wasn’t his call, then he said this... “My audience includes young people, often children, of all backgrounds. Those who come to my shows do not expect a political forum. I respect Macklemore’s strength of purpose… However, there is room for multiple approaches to the same end: peace.” Good!!! couldn't Agree more. No one wants to be preached at. You buy a ticket for the songs, not a lecture. Too many massive stars do it now. Bruce Springsteen’s been doing it for years. Sheeran’s just admitting what a lot of people in the crowd are thinking: let the show be a show.
