The murder rate in El Salvador has fallen from being the world's highest—103 per 100k in 2015—to the lowest in the Western Hemisphere, at 2.3 per 100k in 2023. Imagine that: a nation's economic prospects skyrocket when criminals & gang members are imprisoned and kept there.
