Gm, friends of Luna9!
It’s a big first for us today: we’ll be publishing our first article!

From talking to small business owners, we’re learning that running a small business can mean managing a surprisingly complicated back office
most times client details are in one place, payments in another, deadlines in a spreadsheet and follow-ups buried in messages.
While each tool handles its own part, the business owner is left keeping track of how everything fits together.
Now, that’s the kind of mess we’re building Luna9 to solve.
So you get to have a less complicated back office

Someone just made a 2016 GPU useful for a 2026 model.
Project Maya v1.1.14 added experimental support for Pascal: Tesla P40, P100, GTX 10 series. Same engine I use to run GLM-5.3 Flash on my rig. It just crossed 200K downloads.
@PeasantSmith did this without a VC deck or a waitlist.
Cards you can find cheap on eBay are useful again because 1 person cared. No frontier lab will ever do this for you. They want you to rent.
Local AI is people like him. Go star the repo.
Project Maya v1.1.14
• Added support to NVIDIA Pascal (Tesla P40 / P100, GTX 10) as experimental
• unsloth's Q6_K_XL and Q8_0 GGUFs of GLM-5.3-Flash now run

After reading AI-written slop, my brain feels so exhausted (or grossed out) that I have to cleanse the palate by reading something written before the invention of the internet.
I'll be frank.
And I think this might be a hard pill to swallow.
But I'm fucking hungry!
I want to help myself, my family, my team and every entrepreneur struggling.
The only way to do that is with more money, more influence and more importantly, impact.
It's become daunghting to fight against the having humility and having success.
So, fuck humility!
Luna9 is a product I use on a daily basis, and I stand behind it so much so, we have a money back guarantee.
It's become too daughting to worry about work life balance.
I'm working long days, and loving it, why should I feel ashamed?
Workoholic?
Yes.
But, I'm already had the privilege of traveling most of these fine United States.
I've met people from all walks of life, and sowed my wild oats.
Now, I'm resigned to work.
Now, I'm privileged to be in a place where I can work for myself and support others while doing it.
I am living my dream.
But, there is much more work to be done to turn my ambition into reality.
So I'm asking you, as a friend, follower, supporter, please find the most talentend people you know and tag them in this post.
No time to be humble; show off who you're proud to be connected to.
Let's network our asses off in the comments below 👇
I'll go first:
@BuildWithAJ - Extreamly talented, flexible, well rounded engineer and co-founder that puts up with my insane deadlines and notions.
@techie_vic - Quick to learn on the job and improves every process she comes in contact with.
@devbyak - Very enthusiastic and talent developer I haven't worked with much yet, but hope to soon.
@JustinRFrench - A wise, niche maxxxing and renvue minded master of marketing.
@Riley_Ikni - A talented started up advisor, who got frustrated with my pivots, but still supports.
@Scobleizer - only had the privilege to chat with him once, but it was a great exploratory convo on the future of tech, AR, and where health is headed.
Today we tested making games with Luna9. Poker in 10 min ☺️

You should be fascinated hitting the power button on your computer.
Every boot on an x86 machine iterates through the entire sequence of computing evolution in a few milliseconds:
Stage 1:
16-bit Real Mode, acts like an 8086 from ~1978. 500ns (ish); about 15-30 instructions. Goal of this stage is to create a writeable stack+heap.
Stage 2:
32-bit Protected Mode, acts like a 386 from ~1985. Tens of millions of instructions; takes forever on DDR5 /w memory training. Temporarily uses L2/L3 “cache-as-ram” to kickstart main ram (Intel calls this NEM).
Stage 3:
64-bit Long Mode, acts like AMD64 from ~2003. Hundreds of millions of instructions; enumerate pcie devices, gpu, bootloader, etc.
Stage 4+:
Secondary core wakeup. Every *single* core has to go through the same process, but by this point it’s faster because Main RAM is warmed up.
Stage 2 is just so neat man. Quite literally the same concept as an APU/cart start. Use the smaller motor (L2/L3) to kickstart the main turbine (Main Ram) and execute the training process.
Is that not just the coolest thing? Next time I’m annoyed waiting at the DDR5 training process, I’m going to imagine it’s spinning up SR71 turbines.

One of the updates we worked on recently was bringing background checks directly into chat.
Here's what this means for a solo operator in plumbing or hospitality:
before committing to a new supplier or vendor, there's research to do
opening tabs, searching for scattered information, comparing what you find, and hoping you haven't missed anything important.
that research is part of running a business, too, and it can get tedious.
With background checks included in Luna9, you can research suppliers and vet vendors directly in chat, without having to piece together every part of the process from scratch.
We did this because the question isn't just whether information exists online
it's how much work it takes to find it, assess it, and use it to make a decision.

Hii, Aj here!
I was showing a plumbing business owner Luna9 the other day, and he started talking as if he was giving it instructions, without me prompting him to
he’s scaling his business, so I guess his mind was already going to what he could get done with it
he asked if Luna9 could work that way, and I got to show him that voice notes are available throughout the app
honestly, these are the kinds of interactions I find interesting when we’re building
people are already thinking about how they want to use the product, and sometimes that takes the conversation beyond what you planned to show them

Replying to @SketchesbyBoze
I grew up reading books on my commute on public transport.
All I got is existential dread and bad eyesight.
Every waking moment when I write I'm paranoid that In sound like an LLM bc I ahve always loved metaphors and similes. Who cares about performative.
I spend every morning convincing myself whatever intellect is left in me is worth preserving.

Builders will ride again, this time from experience and a solid product to back the directory concept in Luna9.
Directory plays are fun, but they are tough to keep going on community alone.
It's wise to expect only 1% of your user base to engage - tough to build a business on that.
