Seems like more and more people are recording themselves Hopping products and we absolutely love this!
Great general feedback here for anyone working on a product. 🚨
Daily vlog 15/30 - #VlogtoberChallenge2026
HALF-WAY
Something a bit different today to celebrate the 50% mark of the challange.
I'm doing some live hopping on Buildhop.io
As you've probably noticed I'm either in a very grumpy time lately, or just old. But I'd rather be honest than sugarcoat.
If you actually like an honest feedback like this and would rather have someone tell you WhyDoesYourSiteSuck 😅 -- feel free to ask!
Even if I don't come out friendly in these videos I really love helping people.

Awesome scores here! From 88 to 95 isn’t easy but it’s a signal that you care about your end user and your GTM.
Yesterday a public audit scored aurumapp.org 88/100. Today it's 95.
Security hit 100 after I moved the domain behind Cloudflare. Page load is 964ms, with 0ms blocking time.
Thanks to @Buildhop_io for the FreeScan access.

I'd rather see a small changelog of shipped improvements than a gorgeous public roadmap full of promises.
Builders: public roadmap or keep it private until it ships? 👀

Buying a domain is fun because for a brief, beautiful moment the business has no problems. 🧘♂️

Who’s building cool shit that I haven’t met yet?
I want more builders in my feed who I can trade feedback with, learn from, and root for. 🤙
Reply with what you’re building. Follow if that’s your kind of crowd.
Meet someone in the replies too. Don’t just drop a link and dip.

I want to try your product before giving it custody of my credit card. 😂
Builders: would you rather get fewer trial signups with a card required, or more people actually trying the thing?

Always happy to get distracted from work by people worth talking to. You lot aren't helping. 😂

“Just one more tiny feature before launch.”
Brother, that's a second business. 😂

I don't want people living inside my software. I want them to get what they came for and get on with their day.
Making a useful product doesn't require becoming someone's screen-time problem. 🤙

We're trying to make an equitable community that actually benefits builders, we aren't here for a cash grab at the expense of people trying to distribute products they're passionate about.
We're also a lot more than a launch platform 😉
