NEW: ICE announces that the Dominican criminal illegal alien shot by ICE in the Bronx yesterday previously fled from ICE in September, and ICE didn’t pursue. Yesterday, ICE says they tried to block him in with several vehicles and he tried to flee again by ramming the ICE cars. ICE says they also had a detainer on him on a prior arrest last year, but NYC released him and ignored the detainer. ICE says because he’s a known flight risk, they now have him in detention outside of New York. DHS Sec. Mullin then blasts NYC Mayor Mamdani for referring to the alien as a “New Yorker”, and for running to the microphones about this, but having nothing to say about the attempted stabbing murder & robbery of a NYPD officer by two Dominican illegal aliens last week.

NYC’s track record w/ illegal aliens recently: - Venezuelan illegal alien arrested by NYPD, immediately released, then the city pays for his “humanitarian” flight to GA where he murders Laken Riley. - Two Dominican illegal aliens with lengthy NYC rap sheets released by NYPD, ICE detainer ignored, now arrested for attempted stabbing murder & robbery of off-duty NYPD officer. - Two Dominican illegal aliens on scooters w/ lengthy rap sheets ambush & shoot off duty CBP officer at Fort Washington park. - Dominican illegal alien felon released by NYPD with ICE detainer ignored shot by ICE in Bronx after they allege he tried to ram them while boxed in. - Mexican illegal alien arrested and convicted for robbing and raping the corpse of a deceased man on NYC subway. - Guatemalan illegal alien arrested for murdering a woman on NYC subway by setting her on fire & burning her alive while she was sleeping. - Illegal alien teen mob arrested for beating of NYPD officers in Times Square. BREAKING: I'm told by DHS sources that the two suspects wanted for attempted murder in connection to the stabbing & robbery of an off-duty NYPD detective in NYC on Friday are both Dominican illegal aliens who were caught and released at the AZ border by the Biden administration & both have lengthy criminal histories in NYC, including an ignored ICE detainer. Both suspects remain at large, and while NYPD hasn't officially released their names yet, @FoxNews is told they've been identified as 24-year-old SNEIDER MEJIA BAUTISTA and 25-year-old DANGELO RAFAEL JEAN CARABALLO. I'm told that MEJIA BAUTISTA, a Dominican national, was arrested by Border Patrol after crossing the border illegally near San Luis, AZ on 12/2/2022 with his family, and they were all released into the country. He and his family have had deportation orders since 5/8/2025. I'm told that MEJIA BAUTISTA was arrested by NYPD in the Bronx for criminal possession of a weapon on 10/3/2025 and the next day, ICE filed a detainer on him, but the detainer was ignored and he was released from local custody. I'm told he was also arrested by NYPD on 1/7/2025 for criminal possession of stolen property. I'm told that DANGELO RAFAEL JEAN CARABALLO, a Dominican national, was arrested by Border Patrol after crossing the border illegally near San Luis, AZ on 2/2/2023, and he was released into the country with a future court date. He has five prior arrests in NYC, but no ICE detainers were filed because he was released from custody so quickly each time. His priors include: 1/5/2024 - Arrested by NYPD for reckless endangerment, unlawful fleeing from police officer, and reckless driving 12/20/24 - Arrested by NYPD for being in possession of burglar's tools 6/4/2025 - Arrested by NYPD for criminal possession of a controlled substance 10/26/25 - Arrested by NYPD for criminal possession of a loaded firearm 7/10/2026 - Arrested by NYPD for criminal menacing involving a weapon Per DHS sources, on each arrest, he was released so quickly that he was already out of custody by the time the feds knew about the encounters and couldn't put detainers on him in time.

BREAKING: DHS releases a bullet-point list of what they say are false claims about the shooting of a Venezuelan illegal alien in Austin, TX. They say claims that he was legal and had a valid work permit are false. Per DHS: “CLAIM: ICE refused to remove the bullet from the illegal alien’s body. FACT: This is false. ICE does not and would not advise, nor be the authority on, a medical procedure for an illegal alien at a hospital.  CLAIM: The illegal alien had a valid work permit. FACT: This is false. The illegal alien’s work permit expired in 2025. Furthermore, a work permit does NOT grant legal status. CLAIM: The illegal alien was ordered removed in absentia. FACT: Yes. This is why aliens must show up to their removal proceedings. Legal obligations do not end because someone’s address changed. CLAIM: This illegal alien is here legally. FACT: This is false. This person is in the U.S. illegally. He entered illegally under the Biden Administration. The illegal alien had no valid work permit, had no protective status, and had a final order of removal from a Department of Justice (DOJ) Immigration Judge. CLAIM: This illegal alien has received no pain medication. FACT: This is false. This illegal alien is receiving medical care around the clock, including pain medication. CLAIM: The illegal alien has been forced to sleep on the floor. FACT: This is false. This alien was released from the hospital and arrived at the detention facility just a few hours later, where he slept on a bed. Aliens in ICE custody receive a higher standard of living than most prisons that hold U.S. citizens. CLAIM: This illegal alien was indiscriminately targeted by ICE. FACT: This is false. This illegal alien was the subject of a targeted vehicle stop. What makes someone a target for immigration enforcement is whether or not they are illegally in the U.S. DHS Sec. Just to recap what happened here. 1) Illegal alien from Guinea is caught and released at the AZ border by the Biden admin in 2023. 2) He’s arrested by NYPD in June in sanctuary NYC for sexually assaulting a minor & is released. 3) Now charged w/ raping his female underage teen passenger as a rideshare driver in Maryland. Failure at every level & yet another example of a crime that should have never been able to happen in the first place.
