The first New York-sired New York-breds by @Buccherostud hit the track next year, but he's got the latest #NYbred two-year-old winner anyway! Superbad Stables bred Billy Bucchero, owned by @racingwithihr and Regner. @zayas_edgardo aboard for @markecasse.
.@andyserling you can totally be forgiven as this is only the 3rd @nytbreeders BUCCHERO, but it is worth noting his actual stats as a sire. His best @RagozinSheets was dirt sprinting and his top runner is a dirt Eclipse Champion.

𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗬 𝗕𝗨𝗖𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗢 proves to be the best and wins R5 at Belmont Park. 🌟
The 2y/o gelding is trained by @markecasse and gives jockey @zayas_edgardo his second win on the day.

Gotta love BUCCHERO! Here is his son Buccherino stretching for the wire to win another stakes race on Pennsylvania Derby Day 👏

BUCCHERINO (by, you guessed it, Bucchero!) won today's Stable Recovery Stakes at Parx. The Florida-bred 5-year-old Alfredo Velazquez trainee was ridden by Eliseo Ruiz.
Ignite the Light was second, Houghton Shuffle third.
BUCCHERINO paid 9.20.

“You want to beat me today? You’re gonna have to come get me.”
How do you not love a horse who runs like that? #alltheydoiswin

#2 BUCCHERINO ($9.20), by @Buccherostud, won the $150,000 Stable Recovery Stakes at @parxracing under @eliseorfoficial.
It's Pennsylvania Derby Day at Parx! 14 races, including eight stakes. We love it!

“The shared belief that racing in New York isn’t just changing, it’s entering its greatest era yet…Charging forward, full speed ahead, and Adelphi Racing Club is right there…New York’s racing partnership.”
It’s new Belmont week! Thanks to everyone who made this possible 💪🏻
🚨 Most wins globally last week per @G1Goldmine:
As BUCCHERO's final small Florida crop hits the races as 2YOs in 2026, w/large NY crops on the way, his first 207 starters have produced 160 individual winners. They win early, win often, stay sound and keep winning. 77% winners.
Win or lose, the Buccheros show up every time, and that's why, late in his 5-year-old year, Mattingly's right back at his top class ways!
@nytbreeders @ihstallions
Welcome to Florida, @JJHernandezS19, as he rode #1 MATTINGLY to victory in the $100,000 Bob Umphrey Turf Sprint at @GulfstreamPark. Mattingly is a son of @Buccherostud trained by Joe Orseno.

Congratulations to Gregory Kilka and Christine Connelly of Bright View Farm who were named the 2025 National Small Breeder of the Year presented by BloodHorse and The Jockey Club. Kilka and Connelly bred Eclipse Award-winning sprinter Book'em Danno.

Fans: Horsepeople should do what's right by their horses.
Horsepeople: We can't get him right in time, so we unfortunately have to pass x race.
Fans: You suck. You're a horse dodger. Just run him.
🔥2yo Tiger Line wins at first asking.
"BUCCHERO is a sire people need to look at. He gets dirt runners...turf, and...a lot of good synthetic runners. With synthetic racing going to be prevalent in New York in the winter time, Bucchero is a stallion to keep an eye on." @mig4450
Another nice 2yo winner for BUCCHERO from his last crop of @florida_horse breeders. In a day and age where our timelines are filled with high priced SALE horses, its nice to see a smaller breeder, owner, trainer get the W. Congrats!
Sir Angelus takes race 5, apprentice Carlos Martínez in the irons for trainer, owner and breeder Ángel Rodriguez. #GulfstreamPark #RoyalPalmMeet
