Fantastic! Free CPD in just about everything! My students loved the physical development and mental health and well-being courses. A real enhancement to their degree and the early childhood practice. Thank you @OUFreeLearning
Did we mention our trailblazing open educational resource @OUFreeLearning has reached an AMAZING milestone this week?

Our students have lots of discussions about what should be included in the #nationalcurriculum and climate change often comes up, along with #lifeskills & #moneymanagement. What do you think? @wlv_education

Sorry I couldn’t make it tonight @dscottresearch, thank you for all of your help with my PhD proposal - without you I may never have got there! All the best in Edinburgh, you will be missed 💙 xxx
Lovely meal to say goodbye and good luck to @dscottresearch who is moving on to pastures new. Thank you for bringing ‘phenomenological’ into my dictionary of words, I hope that you remember LL Cool J whenever you have to use it 😂

I know some love the pomp, but when there are 14m people in poverty; when there are 1.6m foodbank parcels being handed out a year; when there are rough sleepers in every corner of our cities, I can’t help finding the opulence on display in Parliament today deeply uncomfortable.

Replying to @Thinkingschool2
The poverty of aspiration discourse is simply untrue.
At best it's ineffectual, at worst it's actively harmful for working-class students due to the discourse of deficit it perpetuates.
