This past Saturday was the last time I stepped on the field as a player. This game has taught me more than I could ever have imagined. I am so blessed I was able to play through college staying healthy and able to even take a 5th year. Thank you to all the people who helped shape me into the man I am today. With out this game I am sure I would not be the same. People tell you it goes fast and just enjoy every moment, but you don’t really get it till it’s over for you. I have had the worst memories on the field but also the best and that’s why I love this game. I will always try to be involved in this game somehow until I can’t anymore. Thank you again to my family for supporting me from the time I was a kid and pushing me to reach my goal of playing college ball. Thank you to my beautiful fiancé for bringing me food after the games and being there for me when I was at my lowest. And thank you to all the coaches I had throughout my life. I have learned so much because of you guys. – at St Bonifacius, MN
