ALT Sky Bet League Two: Peter Cklamovski Salford City manager Peter Cklamovski has been named the Sky Bet League Two Manager of the Month for September. Cklamovski’s tenure at Salford began with three league defeats. He turned that around impressively in September with his team’s passing game pleasing on the eye. He was rewarded with a rise up the table and 13 points from a possible 15. Cklamovski said: "Individual awards are funny in a team sport, but I think this is a reflection of all the hard work from the players and the staff, and their commitment to what we are doing, which I'm really proud of. “It represents the performances that we have been putting together as a club. "I think this is a nice moment to reflect on all the hard work put in since pre-season to now, but also to stay humble and recognise that we have still got a lot of hard work in front of us as we keep building what we want to continue to build."

Cheltenham manager Steve Cotterill said: “The big thing for Charlie was making sure he got on with the lads, just settling in with them really. “I’m really pleased that he’s enjoying his time here and getting the accolades for it. “For me, if you’d have given me Manager of the Month or Charlie Player of the Month, it would have had to be Charlie, I would rather Charlie got it. “We don’t want it just to be an incredible September, though. We want it to be October, November, December and every other month until the season ends.” McCann said: "I’m obviously really happy with the award. It is such a nice thing to have received
