Discussing BEV efficiency with drivers of different EV brands is unnecessarily confusing.
Driver displays in a Leaf and Bolt show efficiency as Miles/kWh, Tesla driver display shows Wh/Mile, while the EPA compares vehicles by kWh/100 miles or MPGe.
