[LONG PERSONAL POST] 1 dude kills himself every 60 seconds. Every minute of every day. • Men account for 80% of all suicides • Men are twice as likely to drink themselves to death than women • Men are three times more likely to have substance abuse problems • Men are also twelve times more likely to be incarcerated And while these are dude stats, men's mental health affects everyone in our lives. Parents want happier sons. Siblings want happier brothers. Lovers want want more present partners. Kids want happier dads - and they wan't to have their dads around. Mental health is funny because it doesn't really give a shit who you are, where you're from, how successful you might be, how much money you have, how many friends, or how many things in your life are going "right." Some days you find yourself in the pit of pits, and the only job to be done is to keep hammering. This month I'm supporting @Movember to raise money and have more conversations around men's mental health, and I really need your help. If you're able to donate, even is it is $1, I set a donation goal of $2,000 with my employer that I would obviously love to blow out. If you are unable to donate right now, I would REALLY appreciate any RTs for visbility. Donations can be made in crypto or with credit card. If you want to donate crypto, I've set up a SOL wallet (USDC is best) and will send you a personal video of me making the donation with my own credit card. I will include your handle as the donation name and give you proof of donation - please DM me the transaction. If you REALLY want to donate via CC, please DM me. Check in on your dudes, love your dudes, and keep hammering With love, Astro ------------ Donation address: EfK93NRUrLnsoaFzy2TryK2RXZFhRs9tASUpyza8k3hA
