Today marks one year to go until the start of Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games when the eyes of the world will be on our city! So we got Rory the Lion from @UBSport together with @birminghamcg22’s Perry the bull on campus to celebrate!

This incredible light show was done using drones at 1am this morning. It marks one year until @birminghamcg22. That bull is outrageously good. This has got me so pumped up for it.

Over 100,000 items & I sniffed out a playbill for a Leeds theatre. Wonderful to explore the Shakespeare Collection - it belongs to everyone in Bham you know. Old books, little books, braille books, music books, newspaper cuttings & so much more @E2EShakespeare @LibraryofBham
An incredible w/e in London catching up with wonderful friends, my big cos @thebenharlow and meeting a special new arrival! Feel invigorated. Also def check out @LarderSE1 if you are that way, delicious food from start to finish.
Went to the actual INSIDE of a pub. A very good pub in fact, the #PloughHarborne. With one of my favourite people @HelenAnnetts. We were so giddy that we ordered not just two glasses, but a PITCHER of Aperol spritz. And two delicious pizzas. A night well spent.
Been great to work on this project!
We recognise that it's been a really difficult year for our students and so have created an outdoor space for those back on campus to meet up and start enjoying that student experience #SpringIntoSummer

So good to be out with these beautiful ladies. Although I think we are all agreed there is something to be said for your own garden 😉 #lockdowneffect
Bostin’ that Perry the Bull has been revealed in all his glory! It’s going to be a fun ride Mr P... #SayHiToPerry
All ready for the Road to Birmingham 2022 sponsor workshop today for @birminghamcg22 repping @unibirmingham. Getting in the zone with the branded merch! Thanks Team #B2022
Whatever happens for the rest of the match you’ve got to say fair play to the @AVFCOfficial young lads. That goal alone was the highlight of my week.
