Two days after Henry died Hampshire Police secretly recorded Digwa in a police van speaking Punjabi to his brother. Digwa admitted stabbing Henry. Discussed claiming self defence. Made zero mention of racial abuse. Not one word.
Hampshire Police had that tape.
They knew Digwa was lying about the racist attack. They had the evidence. They had his own words and then tried to smear Henry as the aggressor anyway.
Three days after his death their statement read โit was reported two men had been assaulted by an unknown man.โ Henry was the unknown man. The boy bleeding out on the street. They flipped it.
Family complained. Statement changed. Then police told the family their NEXT update would again infer Henry was the initial aggressor. His family had to fight them a second time. While grieving their murdered son.
Then during the trial Hampshire tried to issue a statement telling the public to stop talking about it online. Calling it disinformation. The CPS had to step in. Told them they were about to collapse their own murder case.
This is the force that handcuffed a dying boy. Missed the murder weapon twice. Had a secret tape proving the killer lied. And still tried to bury Henry's name.
That's not incompetence. That's a machine protecting itself. At the expense of a dead boy's reputation and three officers are still on active duty. Not suspended. Treated as witnesses. To their own actions.
Hampshire Police didn't just fail Henry on that street. They kept failing him for six months after he died.

UK: Somalian migrant Dahir Ibrahim has raped so many women at knifepoint in the UK it is almost unbelievable. These women's lives will be changed forever but he has successfully won several court cases now because of human rights laws.
He has successfully appealed a prison term after multiple rapes and was given a community order. Within weeks he had raped more women at knifepoint.
After being finally sentenced to 10 years he blocked the Home Office's ability to deport him (Kier Starmer might have been his defence).
He has now successfully sued the NHS trust since despite being addicted to Codeine has has argued that he was made to take it during Ramadan which goes against his human rights. And he has won.
You tell me how fkd up the UK is right now.

Replying to @AngelaRayner
@AngelaRayner, did you allow Islamist extremists to influence the drafting of the โanti-Muslim hostilityโ definition?
Itโs a simple yes-or-no question.
If not, why did your department claim that it had deleted all responses to the Working Groupโs consultation, only to say โ after the Free Speech Union threatened legal action โ that the responses were still held on its data system?
And why does your department still refuse to disclose who responded to the consultation?
While weโre at it: if, as your Permanent Secretary confirmed in a letter to @NJ_Timothy, ministers had no involvement in this decision, who is running your department?
The public deserves to know the truth.

Labourโs VAWG plan going well then! ๐
A 14-year-old boy repeatedly stabbed a girl who rejected his advances, using a SIX-INCH kitchen knife.
He stabbed her at least TEN TIMES. A shopkeeper who tried to intervene was also stabbed.
The attack was premeditated. The judge acknowledged how terrifying and dangerous it had been.
And the sentence? A 12-month referral order and a three-year restraining order. No further custody.
Judge Ian Lawrie KC reportedly told him:
โYouโre a bright ladโ and โkeep out of mischief.โ
Mischief?! As though he'd been caught nicking a few apples off somebody's tree, rather than chasing a terrified girl through a shop and repeatedly stabbing her because she dared to say NO!
The judge also said custody was the last place he should be... What about the girl? Her trauma? Her safety? Her right to reject a boy without fearing for her life?
Of course young offenders need rehabilitation. But surely that cannot come at the expense of meaningful accountability for such extreme violence. Labour promises to halve violence against women and girls within a decade.
How can we expect girls to believe that violence against them is taken seriously when this is how an attempted rejection-fuelled attempted killing is dealt with?
Her mother called the sentence โdisgraceful.โ I can certainly understand why. A girl's life is worth more than a boy's promising future.

A mother was referred to Prevent and visited by police at home because of her visit to Israel and her interest inโJewish issuesโ.
In yet another shocking case, Holly Passmore, a mother of two from County Durham, was visited at home last July by two plain-clothes police officers who wanted to know why she had recently travelled to Israel.
The officers told Ms Passmore, who cares for her severely autistic nine-year-old son, that it was a โsafeguarding issueโ.
A police intelligence report seen by The Telegraph reveals that the referral said she โover-identified with the conflict between Israel and Palestineโ and was โsupportive of Israel to the point that she has travelled to Israelโ. It also described her as having โMHโ โ meaning mental health โ issues and being โvulnerable to negative influenceโ.
Three days after the visit, Ms Passmore lodged a complaint. Two more officers, including a superintendent, then came to her home.
โThey said that, clearly, Iโm not a terrorist,โ she recalled, explaining that they were keen to reassure her that police did not consider her a threat or an extremist.
โI thought that was strange at the time. You donโt usually end up with a superintendent on your couch.โ
Ms Passmoreโs concerns deepened when she discovered that her NHS records had been updated to describe her as a โvulnerable adultโ, before later being changed to say she was no longer vulnerable.
It is now even more clear that Prevent is being weaponised by activists to silence people for their lawful and legitimate views.
These vexatious complaints also waste police time and resources.
Enough is enough.

"David Davis MP in Commons this week on Legacy
โThe government, unfortunately, have prioritised their relationship with Dublin over their duties to their own veteran soldiers. Ireland will undoubtedly come to regret its own role in this Bill. Scrutiny of its actions during the Troubles will show that it was never the impartial party it tries to present itself as now, but instead a partisan and a criminal insurgency.
"The Irish Government provided active sanctuary for IRA terrorists, and justice cannot mean relentless scrutiny for British soldiers but selective scrutiny for the Irish Government. They must accept the scrutiny of themselves that they demand of others, and we might start with an independent review of their role in the Omagh bombing, which we have heard something of today," he added.
"I am afraid that this is a nation much of whose politics is hostile to Britain - we should not avoid that fact. Britain must not sacrifice its soldiers for an illusory diplomatic advantage," he said.

Britain's Man In Jerusalem Has A Problem At Home
Jonathan Powell has spent this month trying to keep Britain's consulate in Jerusalem open. Israel closed it in retaliation after Ed Miliband banned imports from illegal West Bank settlements, and relations between the two countries now sit at their lowest point in decades. Powell, as national security adviser, has become Britain's chief interlocutor in trying to repair that relationship. His wife, meanwhile, has spent this week being investigated by the Metropolitan Police.
Sarah Helm wrote on X that she stood with "authors who support Palestine and Palestine Action," a group proscribed as a terrorist organisation since 2025, after protesters allegedly caused ยฃ7 million of damage at RAF Brize Norton. More than 3,000 people have been arrested for expressing support for it. Her post has prompted a formal assessment by Scotland Yard.
Helm's views on Israel did not begin this week. She has called Gaza a "strange surreal prison" where Palestinians were "imprisoned without charge." She has asked why occupied Palestinians lack the right to resist their occupier when Ukrainians are celebrated for resisting Russia. In 2024 she called for an international force to "drive out Israel's genocidal army" from Gaza. None of this is new information. All of it predates her husband's appointment as the man now representing Britain's interests in Jerusalem.
That timeline matters more than her tweet does. Nobody needs to question Helm's right to hold these views, deeply held and publicly stated over years, to ask a separate question: whether anyone in government considered what it meant to place her husband at the centre of Britain's most delicate Israel negotiations in a generation, with his own household this openly aligned against Israel's position on the war. Diplomacy runs on perceived neutrality as much as substance. Israel does not need evidence that Helm's views shaped British policy to conclude that the man negotiating with them sits considerably closer to the other side of the argument than comfort allows.
This is the same gap that has defined Powell's tenure from the start. He ran a secret backchannel to a proscribed terrorist group in Syria before his appointment, undisclosed until journalists found it. He held meetings with PLA-linked Chinese officials through his private charity, undisclosed until Parliament tried and failed to ask about them. His developed vetting status has never been confirmed, despite his predecessor's failed vetting triggering the defining scandal of this government. Each time, the pattern is identical. Something relevant to his judgement or his position existed, and nobody weighed it before he was trusted with the brief it touched.
Campaign Against Antisemitism has called on Powell to denounce his wife's rhetoric publicly if he wishes to continue in post. That may be the wrong remedy for the wrong problem. Helm is entitled to her opinions regardless of who she married, and demanding a public renunciation from a spouse sets an uncomfortable precedent. The real failure sits with Downing Street, which appears to have handed its most sensitive Israel brief to a man whose household's views on the conflict were already a matter of public record, without pausing to ask whether that was wise.
Powell remains in post. The consulate talks continue. Nobody in government has explained why a national security adviser whose wife has spent years comparing Israel's war conduct to an illegal occupation was considered the right person to represent Britain's interests in Jerusalem at the most sensitive moment in that relationship for a generation. The real question here has nothing to do with Sarah Helm. It is whether anyone in Downing Street does due diligence at all.
