Blown away with what @53two has done. The theatre space and all the build around is wonderful. A real welcoming, accessible theatre space slap bang in the centre of the city! The team have smashed it. Truly. Bravo @Simon_Naylor & all of team arches! πŸ‘ŠπŸΌβ€οΈ

#Manchester #Theatre is alive & well & it’s @kingssalford; not just at HOME/RX. #AmericanBuffalo is refreshing & brilliant. Nobody asked me for more words but I’m a prick & loved it, so I wrote some (& because I read some reviews that are useless & boring!) Go see it!❀️🐝
What a joy to see three professional, experienced, skilled & instinctive actors doing what they do best; voice, body & thought connected to form huge, believable characters. Colin, Dave & John are more than at ease on the stage. Nuanced & beautiful. There’s no choice: I was taken into their thrift shop with no escape and no compromise. Just short of two hours (with an interval), Mamet’s brilliantly edgy, fast-paced & funny dialogue raced and I left buzzing. There’s no bigger rush than living and breathing the thoughts of quality actors just an arms length away. Just brilliant. An electric performance-the best I’ve seen at Kings. Unapologetic & volatile but with heart & so much soul. Thacker, Hurst & Co have nailed it. Yes, it needs to be seen by a bigger audience but, no, it shouldn’t transfer. Leave it there at the Kings Arms with a 30 seater audience and let it run! Β£15 a ticket to see that β€˜in your face’ quality compared to Β£40+ to see something that hides behind a fourth-wall.
