🗣️ Prince Ali bin Hussein says the AFC Congress lacked debate, adding delegates were barred from talking with the media. He says the final day was “pure politics at the behest of Gianni Infantino”. It comes as AFC President Sheikh Salman claimed Asia endorses Infantino.
🗣️ “When it comes to FIFA elections, confederation presidents have no say: the vote is by each and every member association. So any claims that have recently emerged that confederation or FIFA council members have a part in the vote, is not relevant.
“Having come back from Tokyo where the AFC Congress took place, the first two days were about football, which we all serve. The last day was pure politics at the behest of Gianni Infantino.
“There were reports that Asia has a united position when it comes to electing the next FIFA President.
In fact, nobody was allowed to speak, question, debate or talk with the media.

🇵🇸 Doctors in Gaza are performing full mastectomies on breast cancer patients even when tumors are small, because Israel prevents radiation therapy from entering the Strip, Al Araby TV correspondent Asem Alnabih reported. Breast-conserving surgery requires follow-up radiation, which is unavailable in Gaza, due to Israeli restrictions.
The report, aired during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, found severe shortages of cancer drugs and disrupted early detection services. Gaza's main cancer hospital has been destroyed, and about 11,000 cancer patients remain stranded, as Israeli restrictions block most from leaving for treatment abroad.
