This Australian's reply to Trump's rant about โNATO not being there for Americaโ is perfect.
"Mate. You run a country with 600,000 homeless people sleeping on the street tonight. A country where 40% of adults can't cover a $400 emergency without borrowing money. A country where insulin costs more than a car payment and people are rationing it to survive. A country where medical debt is the number 1 cause of bankruptcy. A country where women are dying in hospital car parks because doctors are too scared of abortion laws to treat a miscarriage.

Greenland has universal healthcare. Free education. One of the lowest incarceration rates in the world. Nobody goes bankrupt there because they got sick. Nobody dies in a waiting room because their insurance said no.
'NATO wasn't there when we needed them." When exactly was that, champ? September 11? Because NATO invoked Article 5 for the first and only time in history FOR YOU. Soldiers from dozens of countries deployed, fought, bled, and died in Afghanistan FOR YOU. Australia wasn't even in NATO and we still showed up. For 20 years.
And you pulled out at 2am without telling anyone and left them to deal with the mess.
So maybe before you start calling other countries poorly run, have a look at your own backyard, you spray-tanned aluminium siding salesman. The only thing poorly run in this picture is your f----- mouth."

Sunday night in Portsmouth, hundreds of men in balaclavas tried to physically stop an RNLI lifeboat bringing shipwrecked people to shore. When that failed, they blocked the buses taking them to processing instead.
The Home Office called it thuggish and intimidating. Even Nigel Farage said he "deplores" grown men hiding their faces to intimidate people on Britain's streets.
So here's who these volunteers actually are:
Last year alone, RNLI crews launched over 9,000 times and saved 272 lives. Migrant Channel rescues have consistently made up around 1% of RNLI launches in recent years. The other 99%? Swimmers, sailors, kids cut off by the tide. People exactly like the ones a masked mob just tried to stop from reaching dry land.
An RNLI crew doesn't ask who's in the water before they go in after them. They never have, not since 1824.
Blocking a lifeboat with a mob in balaclavas doesn't stop a crossing. It just risks someone drowning while masked men decide who gets to survive.
Retweet if a mob should never get to choose who lives.

These two lovely older Chihuahua girls have had a lot of interest, and we have replied to every enquiry weโve received. Unfortunately, despite the interest, nobody has yet come forward to arrange a meeting with them or progress with a rehoming application.
They simply donโt deserve to spend their days waiting in kennels, so we feel we have to widen their options and look for the right homes for them individually. โค๏ธ

However, after 4 weeks with no rehoming applications progressing, we cannot let the lack of interest in a joint home mean these girls remain in kennels indefinitely.
They are both deserving of a warm home, a comfy bed and someone to love them. ๐ฅบโค๏ธ

๐ค Lily is a 10 yr old small Cocker Spaniel. Super sweet, sensitive, busy and has most definitely had many puppies.

Hereford and Worcester Animal Rescue have had multiple calls about him and the situation that has led him to being tied up whilst he wasnโt in his ownerโs care.
