ALT This is a flyer for the Metro Growers Spring Social, to be held Tuesday, April 30 from 5:30-7:30 PM at Broken Clock Brewing Cooperative in Minneapolis. It is free to attend. Learn more and register at https://sfa-mn.org/twin-cities-growers-network/

ALT A group of people stand outdoors on the deck of a house. A woman with a denim jacket and sunglasses shows them the trays of tree sap that she has boiling on a propane stove, protected from the wind by a curved piece of corrugated metal. This will eventually be boiled down into maple syrup.

ALT About 15 people sit on benches in a semi circle beside the children's garden at Urban Roots Farm in St. Paul. They are surrounded by trees, flowers, and tall grasses. It is a bright day with blue sky and patchy clouds. An Extension Educator is discussing the soil and compost research results from the farm.
