Again, there's a funny paradox here, which is that there has not been a housing crisis in Edmonton since about 1948, as you well know if you have invested in housing in Edmonton, and it's not clear how much infill was really helping with affordability.

Conservatives have won another debate for Canada: stopping medical assistance in dying for mental illness.
Canadians suffering with depression or other challenges deserve hope, help, and a long happy life.
Conservative MP @TamaraJansenMP's bill forced the Liberals to backtrack. Her courageous work will continue to save countless lives.

Jarry has started in 18 games as a member of the Oilers. He’s allowed 4 or more goals in 10 of his last 12 starts. Goals allowed per start:
3, 4, 1, 4, 0, 2, 6, 4, 5, 4, 5, 5, 7, 2, 1, 6, 4, 6.
That Dubas was able to trade him for heavy return remains astonishing.
1. Give up a pile of crap goals.
2. Scramble to score six to win.
3. Run out of time. Lose.
A tale as old as time in Oil Country.

Three Jewish NHLers in Edmonton?
At this point, we’re not saying you have to move here…
We’re just saying the universe is making a pretty compelling case. 🏒✡️
Wishing Zach, Jake & Devon an incredible season!
Come for the hockey. Stay for the community. Move here for both.
Jewish Canadian hockey history is being made! 🏒✡️🍁
Ahead of Tuesday’s official season opener, the Edmonton Oilers have three Jewish Canadian NHL players on their roster: Zach Hyman and Jake Walman, both from Toronto, and Devon Levi, from Montreal.
It’s the first time three Jewish Canadian NHL players have been on the same NHL team.
Three players. One team. One historic milestone.
And for the next generation of Jewish Canadian hockey players, seeing three Jewish Canadians at the NHL level together is an inspiring reminder of what’s possible.
Best of luck this upcoming season, Zach, Jake and Devon! 💙

If you pause it at :02, you can see these exact point in time the spirit of Mac Jones overtakes him.
He's done it.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr., in the 150th game of the season, has his 1st home run at Rogers Centre. He watched every second of it before he took a step. #BlueJays
This audio is still absolutely bone-chilling.
No matter how many videos of the impact I see - and there are always new ones amazingly - this one still makes my blood run cold.
Pure horror.

I first met Charlie Kirk more than ten years ago. At that time, he was very young, and possessed an evangelical naivety that was relatively foreign to a Canadian.
He was truly and somewhat amusingly shocked, for example, at the pervasive smell of marijuana on the streets of Toronto.
It was obvious, however—despite that sheltered mien—that Charlie was someone deeply and singularly committed to a unique mission, and that he would be driven to learn everything necessary to its success.
I met him in person another dozen times after that, and was asked to speak at a number of Turning Point events.
I enjoyed the events. It was a very good thing to see thousands of enthusiastic young people trying to make things better in their somehow endearing conservative American way.
It was also fascinating to watch Charlie develop in sophistication over the years. The bravery he showed in presenting a truly conservative viewpoint on university campuses was part of that development, as was the ferocious skill he developed at debating contentious issues, under trying conditions, for years.
My wife, Tammy, and I met his lovely wife Erika with him on several private dinners. They made a truly admirable and mutually respectful couple. We had plans to make such meetings a regular occurrence—but life, and death, got in the way.
I was not informed about Charlie's murder for several months after it occurred, in consequence of my recent illness. It came as a terrible shock.
It is also truly awful to see what a spectacle has been made of his demise by pathological actors across the political spectrum.
He was a solid, decent, hard-working, truthful, brave person.
We are all—right and left alike—lesser without him.
On the right: because he was an example and a leader.
On the left: because he would willingly talk across the aisle, and in good faith.
There will come a day—and too soon, I am afraid—when even those who vilify his memory will long for the days when people such as Charlie existed, and made such civilized talk a priority.
I had the privilege to sit down with Charlie and talk with him about his life and the world not so many months before that was no longer possible: youtu.be/dP0TagcNvCg?si=F1fW…
RIP Mr. Kirk. I write that in true sorrow.
