The Nobel peace prize was just awarded to the UN official that found Israel guilty of an ongoing genocide An extraordinary turning point & a vindication of everyone who stood against Israel's atrocities in Gaza!

Isn’t it strange how, when you start being paid by private companies instead of elected by the public, the people become the “mob”? Palantir’s record deserves scrutiny – from politicians and the public. theguardian.com/technology/2…

A Palestinian paramedic broke down in tears over the Israeli massacres of civilians in Gaza. If even paramedics can no longer hold back their tears, imagine the horror innocent people are enduring.

The more you unravel this story, the louder the alarm bells sound. Need I remind everyone that Jared Kushner is NOT A GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEE? He’s a non-government employee responsible for negotiating deals in the Middle East and the Ukraine-Russia War, and he has this position because he’s the President’s son-in-law. He’s also the textbook definition of conflict of interest. Kushner’s private equity firm is backed by BILLIONS from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE, at the same time that he’s the Saudi point man. He has contractual responsibilities to deliver for his donors in the Middle East, but he’s responsible for U.S. diplomacy there? The New Yorker also obtained a document from European intelligence suggesting that business deals benefiting Trump’s circle were on the table during negotiations between Ukraine and Russia. How can the Trump Administration insist that Kushner’s private businesses and diplomatic work do not conflict with each other when he is asking foreign governments for private equity money while negotiating with them at the same time? Kushner is not a career diplomat. He’s not on the payroll. What, in the world, is he doing negotiating some of the world’s front-most conflicts? newyorker.com/magazine/2026/…

I guess this is what happens when AIPAC-AI writes your talking points without any human in the chain to check for basic humanity. David Valadao (R-CA-22) literally says that military aid to Israel helps the US because the money goes to the production and TESTING of American weapons systems. "The fact that those weapons are used there and tested there, we are able to learn from that." He goes on to describe it as an "opportunity" to test weapons and learn from it. We knew AI was steering Israel's genocide in Gaza. It appears it is also steering its political strategy in the US...

It took a little longer than expected, but we have finished the Gaza Geolocation Map. Every clip in the archive whose location we know is placed on a map of Gaza, so you can see where the footage was filmed. It includes: 35,200+ videos and photos placed on the map. Sources and the original post for every clip Node map links & suggested leads Our built-in AI iris can navigate the map Fully searchable index Filters by area, date, type of attack and precision UN satellite damage survey layer (UNOSAT) Built-in reverse image search links for each node Downloadable dataset (CSV, GeoJSON and Google Earth) It can be accessed here: archivegenocide.com/geolocat… Please re-share and help us break out of the algorithm prison. We will keep placing more of the footage as our researchers work through the rest of the archive. Thank you to genocide.live, GeoConfirmed, @AbuLocation and @NemoAnno, whose geolocation work is credited on the map. God bless all those who sacrificed their lives to get this footage out. New in The Atlantic: @dgrobinson resigned this week. He was among the longest-tenured employees at OpenAI—and oversaw safety reports on 12 frontier launches. He is very worried: “The time for trial and error is over.” You can read his essay here: theatlantic.com/technology/2…

In this op-ed, Emily M. Bender and I remind everyone that it is the BELIEF that these products are "superintelligent," enough to rely on them for this type of use, that almost rendered humanity extinct. theguardian.com/commentisfre…

🦔Meta classified its AI data centers as "experimental pilot facilities" on its tax return. That let the Nvidia chips inside them qualify for the federal research tax credit. Meta's research credit savings went from $700 million in 2023 to $3.9 billion in 2025 and its federal tax bill dropped nearly 71%. Meta's $3.9 billion is over 10% of the entire federal research credit, claimed by one company. The facilities include a 5-gigawatt campus in Louisiana that cost above $50 billion. Meta's own reserve for potential IRS challenges grew 45% to $18.74 billion. My Take Meta is calling a $50 billion data center campus an experiment. The research credit was designed in the 1980s for companies that tried things that might not work. Meta used it to write off Nvidia GPUs by the tens of thousands in facilities that power Instagram, WhatsApp, and a commercial AI product with 2.8 million downloads. Tax experts called the classification "kind of wild" and they're right. $3.9 billion in tax savings is a lot of money. That's money the Treasury didn't collect from a company worth $1.5 trillion. Meta's own filings show they know this might not hold up because they increased their IRS dispute reserve by 45% to $18.74 billion. If the IRS challenges it and wins, Meta owes billions in back taxes. If the IRS doesn't challenge it, every other hyperscaler files the same claim next year. Either way this reshapes how AI infrastructure gets taxed. Communities already fight data centers over noise, water, and property values. Now the tax code hands them a $3.9 billion subsidy on top of it. Hedgie🤗

Jetzt ist es also amtlich. Das Deutschlandticket wird zum 1. Januar 2027 zum 4. Mal hintereinander teurer.

AI safety did not suddenly become a big topic. Some of the people behind OpenAI and Anthropic have worried about this for more than a decade. Now AI is getting much better, much faster. And the debate has moved from a small group in Silicon Valley to all of us.

Enerparc AG, one of Europe’s biggest independent solar park operators has filed for insolvency in Germany. The company, which has around 5.5GW of installed solar capacity across more than 500 parks, secured a €1bn financing package earlier in 2026 to continue expansion. Germany is rapidly increasing its renewable capacity – however its grid cannot keep up. Sound familiar? #CostOfNetZero
