Even though it's now almost 2030 and over a decade and Trump managed to pull out of the #ParisAgreement a reminder that the average #GlobalCitizen never got tired of the #SDGs. They really never get old to me as laudable goals to aspire especially in third world countries where they actually make a difference to support the most precarious of living circumstances where clean drinking water is still considered a day to day privilege. After months of preparation, meetings, rehearsals, and experiences across the regions involved in the ABF Voices Of program, the first ABF Global Gathering has officially begun.
Over the coming days, more than 160 children and young people, together with choir directors from diverse cultural and geographical backgrounds, including Haiti, Uganda, the Holy Land, Camerino, and Rione Sanitร , will share spaces, activities, experiences, and everyday moments, discovering firsthand what it means to be part of a global community.
Throughout the Global Gathering, each choir will have the opportunity to represent its country or community of origin through themed cultural evenings. The first evening was dedicated to Italy, offering participants a chance to share and celebrate its traditions, culture, and spirit together.
