In June our prototype 18650 ProLion™-based LMFP cells hit 2,000 cycles at 85% SOH under demanding test conditions (100% DoD, C/2 charge to 4.25 V, 1C discharge to 2.75 V). They are still on test and have now passed 2,600 full cycles and remain above 80% capacity. These new results demonstrate that BroadBit's ProLion™ electrolyte is the key to making LMFP, a cobalt- and nickel-free lithium-ion chemistry, a commercially viable alternative to traditional cobalt- and nickel-heavy NMC lithium-ion cells for EVs.
