Reception have enjoyed a lovely trip to Knowsley Safari Park today to enhance our topic of Amazing Animals! We even went into the Safari School to learn all about animal habitats and camouflage. The children were beautifully behaved - well done Superstars 🌟#science

Today RD went on a bug hunt in the school forest area and we explored all the bugs in the world around us. 🐛🐞🐝🐌🐜🕷🦋

We started off thinking about how we could melt the ice. The children thought it would melt quicker it the sun, they soon realised they could pour water over the ice to make it melt quicker. Once melted the children decided to make their own car wash #science

✏️📖 This week, in our Literacy Counts sessions,Reception have been reading a story called Juniper Jupiter. Afterwards we added key vocabulary to our working wall and then created superheroes using our own faces and even gave ourselves superhero names using alliteration! 📖✏️
